A realistic medical drama. Unlike other dramas, this didnt have the 'case of the week'. It just shows everyday life of doctors and patients. I've watched some medical kdramas and they just tend to be showing exaggerated abilities of doctors which i wonder if there are such doctors. Im glad Hospital Playlist didnt fall into that kind of trope.
I like the comedy just like Prison Playbook! There are so many cameos from PP as well.
Last episode - what is the meaning of Jun Wan's returned parcel? And what did he see or not see in the drawer?
About the drawer - I agree with K_Ke. That signifies that Jung Won wont be a priest anymore. He chose to continue as a doctor.
The returned parcel - Ik sun didnt want the idea of getting the ring. She gave an unknown address to Jun Wan so the parcel was returned. It's a hint of their break up. I could be wrong. Let's see in season 2.
who is the person in mental hospital where jin jae gyu see a hand which comes from a hole of the wall and also…
Not necessarily following him. Dong Baek thought he was following Jae Gyu, but thats not the case. Since Jae Gyu met him at the mental hospital, he pitied that guy and took him in. Jae Gyu hired his father as a caretaker, also helped him with that guy's meds. But for sometime, Jae Gyu had to leave Korea suddenly because of Eraser so he lost touch with the caretaker. The caretaker thought they were abandoned.
who is the person in mental hospital where jin jae gyu see a hand which comes from a hole of the wall and also…
Aah..if you're referring to the one holding a hammer whose hands is with four lines, that's the caretaker's son. He tattoo'd in his body the sign of the senior soldier who abused him.
who is the person in mental hospital where jin jae gyu see a hand which comes from a hole of the wall and also…
Sorry, I cant remember that scene with black gloves. But for sure, the one at the mental hospital and the person watching him feeding chickens is just one person and that is the caretaker's son who's gone crazy because of abuse. Dong Baek even gave them money so he could be properly treated.
The first murder committed by Jae Gyu was his wife and her lover when he was in his 30's. Isn't your last question related to this?
who is the person in mental hospital where jin jae gyu see a hand which comes from a hole of the wall and also…
1. If ur question is who was with him at the mental hospital, it was the son of the caretaker who was abused by a senior soldier. This happened more than 20 yrs. (Around 1985? Cant remember exactly) At first, Dong Baek thought this guy was the eraser but it turned out he was wrong when he scanned his memories.
2. When Jae Gyu felt his memories being erased, this happened 20 yrs ago (the actor is already matured). As I mentioned below, Eraser's first approach of Jae Gyu was when he was already matured at a car, taking pictures of the young assemblyman (at episode 20). You can pay attention as to who is the actor playing Jae Gyu so you will have the basis of the timeline.
Yeah, this should be under spoiler. To answer your question, try watching again the last episode. Your question…
I cant remember stating more than 20 yrs. Eraser purposedly approached Jin Jae Gyu the first time when he was already matured (in a car when he was taking photos of the young assemblyman at the last episode). In what episode are u referring to? Isn't it just the assumption/theory of Dong Baek and Han Su Mi? At first, Dong Baek thought it was the man with four-line scar was Eraser so he searched for that guy. It turned out he was wrong.
If you're referring to earlier serial murders, they were committed by Jae Gyu (as the "Executioner") before he met Eraser and they were read by Eraser through his memories. For me, as far as I can remember, there's nothing wrong with the timeline.
They kept introducing so many new characters for the red herrings that at the end when we find out the real villian…
I understand how you must feel frustrated. I, too, was confused with a lot of characters. But, I enjoyed the ride.
I think, IMO, it is justifiable that the start of the killing was when Eraser learned about the rape. Ah Young was like a sister to her. Wouldnt you be enraged if bad things happen to your sister? After learning about the rape, she killed the doctor and the nurse when she was still a teen. Those two and the gang rapists were the only people whom she killed 20 yrs ago. Jae Gyu killed all others back then as the "Executioner".
In the process of protecting her son, the Chairwoman instructed her right hand man to eliminate any evidence and anyone who knows about the rape so he went to Eraser's house to eliminate the evidence (the parcel sent by Ah Young to Eraser), consequently killing their mother since she was at their house that time 20 yrs ago. So, their mother's death is still linked to Ah Young's rape. That added to the fire. Eraser reserved that man at the end to be killed by Dong Baek at present so he could feel how to put justice at his own hands since he witnessed how that man murdered their mother.
Jae Gyu being a shaman was just ok for me. So, the thrill of suspecting him would be there.
I must admit the last two episodes kind of ruined the drama for me... They just didn't feel right and I didn't…
I agree with you but I also tried to understand how the eraser's character was written. Eraser had a different view from Dong Baek on taking justice. She believes that she had to take justice at her own hands while DB works with the law and the police force whom Eraser doesnt believe in, who also covered up the crimes of the powerful and rich people. This, I think, what Eraser hated on Dong Baek being a detective.
On the link between Eraser and killing Sun Mi's father, please bear in mind that Eraser worked with Jaegyu. She reads his memories so she knows all his killings in the past. At present, she wants to play mind games with both DB and SM so Eraser used that memory. That case where the painter died and the two ladies were made into statues led DB and SM to find Jaegyu and let them think that Eraser is Jaegyu.
I think, the writers did their best for this drama to be thought-provoking. I just felt that the ending was rushed but still bearable for me.
Let me try: Cho Won is the name of the unborn baby of the former assemblyman whose wife was abducted by the fire…
Yep, there are two Cho Won's. At first, Dong Baek thought about his HS friend, but he learned that the baby's name is also Cho Won from the mother pleading to save her daughter when he was at the house of the assemblyman.
What a ride! It's just confusing a bit because this has a LOT of characters that I had to go back sometimes to remind me who's who. I can bear with it though. You have to stay focused or else, you will miss some details. One of the best crime series for me!
also i dont mean to spam, but can anyone explain why jin jae gyu's dying words were about cho won? what was the…
Let me try: Cho Won is the name of the unborn baby of the former assemblyman whose wife was abducted by the fire station chief who replicated the outfit and mask of the eraser. Jin Jae Gyu's words were only based on visions where he saw a man wearing eraser's outfit.
I was pertaining to his acting in this drama. I liked him in Be with You. But, in this, he seemed having like a placated facial expression, like he's only reciting his lines. He's only good at his action scenes. I dunno.. I just felt that way. Thats just my opinion. But in overall, i liked this drama.

I suggest that you rewatch it. :)
