I feel really bad for Jian...poor girl got into all these mess only for Jinman...lost her parents, her childhood,her whole life got destroyed....now when she finally found peace again and someone like Woojin by her side...this Babylon showed up again!!!)

They really killed three important characters in one single episode???? J,Bale and Woojin???? Is Jeong Jinman himself gonna be alive at the end at this rate???

And the way they established Jian calling Jinmans name three times every times she's in danger and he always shows up....absolute cinema!!!!

After finishing it,I really thought if kttph had enough budget,promo and a proper aged fml to avoid controversy, it could have the same level of fame as poj. It was even more intense than poj in terms of war scenes and palace politics imo.

Also, the voice actor for Xiao Wuyi deserves a round of applause. To be honest when it was announced HMH cant dub because of his health issues...it was really upsetting. Cause dubbing always plays a big role to make a drama enjoyable and the way minghao feels every emotions of his characters and dubs accordingly, a character like Xiao Wuyi definitely needed him. But I was surprised how much similar the voice actor sounded like him,sometimes I had to double check if its really minghao or not.

Well...even though some of your points are completely valid....i'd say,you better keep watching. Cause i was also skeptical about the love triangle and most of the things you said....but the way they unfolded the story later without ruining the core of the characters, it was quite pleasantly surprising to me. So if you want...you can continue for some more epis.

Lol...loved to see a generel actually blood soked with lots of martial art action war scenes and also taking active part in palace politics. He was actually intimidating in some scenes, such a pleasure to watch.

So lejun and Li mao both were legitimate part of imperial bloodline? I was confused at this part,thanks for clearing.

And yeaah,that poison part was abruptly cut,it left questions unanswered. If lejun had to take it,what stopped Xie Jiayu from taking it? Was it something xiao wuyi did? Or she just simply wasn’t affected?? I guess we will know.

I'm still confused about some things...

1. Can someone clear me the real relationship between Li Mao and Li Lejun? I know they're siblings,but as we know Li Mao is The Grand Tutors son but how did Lejun came to the picture? I think I missed this bit while watching.

2. Do we know anything about Xie Jiayu's past? She is the adopted daughter of grand tutor and princess.... But what about her real parents?

3. Was'nt Xie Jiayu given poison by the eagle king before the final battle? What happened after then? Why wasn’t she poisoned?

Finally finished watching....loved it. A General who actually General-ed,not some pretty face only aura farming lol. Now I understand why HMH was so excited about this drama,this is actually well written, well paced and well acted. One of the best in HMH's career, ngl. And Aimi also did really good,I was worried about the age gap and how they would portray the relationship without being intense. Thankfully they did really good and Xiao Wuyi did carry the heavy burden by yearning and everything so it wasn’t uncomfortable to watch. Definitely worth watching.

This drama is written beautifully, ngl. HMH and all other casts are great.But I think Aimi's character lacks some depth. I mean.... She is a a teenager irl acting like a teenger,but the story is indeed intense,so she seems somehow misplaced. Her acting is great... But her antics,idk.

I think they should've made more plotline for that north korean brother instead of making Ju the final villain,he was stupid af....never understood his place and went after Kim again and again and finally lost everything. His character just was'nt interesting enough. The final fight among three leads was underwhelming too. In the middle the plot kinda went all over the place....But still the Ajusshis with glasses saved it. Loved their chemistry so much. But Minji,Taehoon and Dabin should really had a scene together. Hoping for season 2 with more actions with Appa's and their children.

When jbz understood why MingYi wanted golden millet dream so badly,he himself gave it to Mingyi without her knowing inside the scallion pancakes. She ate it without realizing anything.

She was just a frightened teen. She saw what happened if Xixiao continues to be with her. She was in a situation where she neither could protect him strongly nor could snatch him from his family. His grandpa threatened her. She just took a bad decision that she thought would be good for Lu Xixiao without thinking any consequences. Again,she was just a teen,afraid,devastated,exhausted.

Maybe thats just him and his personality. In his life, wan was the only person who actually did anything that actually touched his heart after his mom's death. She kind of became like his oxygen. So only her presence in his life was enough. To be honest,I also was'nt satisfied at all the way everything got resolved too easily,he didn’t even question her the reasons,he just said tell me you love me and I'll fogive everything. I guess he just wanted her to be with him. That's it.

She was powerless,yes.Annoying? Maybe sometimes,yes. But ugliest??? You better be joking. Each and every character of this drama looked absolutely amazing,including her. Her styling wasn’t anything magnificent, it was just simple,calm and soothing just like her personality. She was the mother of the group,always comforting and caring for others, while Zhu Yan was the father.

That synopsis of his new drama sounds just like Love in the Clouds,powerful girl hiding her power and approaching to the male lead to seduce him to get something from his possession and later faling in love.....they even named it so similar, Love in the Shell!! I hope the team changes some of the plot in a good way, otherwise its just the same story in a different font.

Idk but while watching it I just couldn’t ignore some thoughts...Even though its just fiction,you just can't go from school to school,work as anti bullying,anti power abuse,anti drug avengers and then leave...there would always be students who keep doing all these,parents who would hide their childs criminal mindset and keep saving them,there would always be corrupted teachers and system. Its just something you can't eradicate fully,its a very messed up part of the society. As long as there are not actually effective laws or people don't abide by the existing laws....or them actually working on it from the very root,don't know how much effective such school by school adventures would be.

The only message of this drama is,don't make stupid friends. Not all friends are smart,some can be dumb enough to do everything step by step you told them not to do.
