I guess for the chemistry it's a little debatable there is some chemistry happening according to me anyway, but the chemistry it not brilliant XD

I mean I'm used to watching these kind of dramas so I'm ok with it ...not good but not bad either, but for someone who hasn't watched much of these kind of cliche tropes I wouldn't recommend it mostly because they probably be triggered by the character haha so it's your choice for this journey. Of course you can take into account the other reviews and comments

There is a degree of romance but like no kissing. You can tell it's very obvious Gu yan zhen likes xie xiang he does a lot to make that obvious and helps her as well. I think the feeling is mutual between the both of them.

Tbh at the back of my mind it did occur to me that luo yao and you ming would end together but I didn't want to believe it yet ...but I can see if they do end up together, I just would've preferred the friendship theme where no one ends up with anyone for this kind of drama instead because of their "trio dynamic" lol

I'm part of the people who are unimpressed by youning haha I can see why she is useful for cases very informative but her personality really sucks maybe because she was very spoiled but to ship youning with huyitian is a no from me. I would've preferred if there was no romance since there was subtle hints of bromance and that was good enough for me

I think it's because some people got confused with who was the FL even with the poster... I was confused when I saw ep 1 but I understood afterwards. I think some people need a clearer explanation as to why she changed her face and especially changed it to her maid. And thx to the comment below the explanation will probably clear the confusion for some people

...Also just wanted to say the producers had never 'disrespected' the author ..they closely followed the novel even without the BL element and they did a good job...
