I see your point but dont let that get in the way... even though its not BL it's still got bromance and the chemistry between the leads fills the gap of the BL element... Theres a reason why its not BL, because China has censorship for these kind of things...

I'm on episode 5 and its so hard not to ship the leads !! The accidental kiss is EVERYTHING XD even if it doesn't focus on romance (which is fine) the acting is lovely Hou Ming Hao is sooo good and same with Wan Peng, their chemistry is beautiful. I cant wait for hou ming hao's future projects. As much as i wish the leads get together by the end at least. After a few eps Im already feeling nostalgic and im still in my final yr of high school !!! :'/ ....Haha...
The teacher is a blessing and same with the classmates. In my school teachers and students are not like this...its everyone for themselves, especially for students. Teachers niceness level vary but usually unlucky with strict and scary teachers...

The English dub on Hu YiTian is even worse. The dub doesn't even sync with his speaking. It's a little cringey to watch... but other than that everything is pretty good.
