Absolutely, there’s a huge psychological pressure and manipulation Tony puts on the children. As we can see, some of them are able to break away, and some don’t. With Kenta, I think Tony is keeping him on a tight leash by reminding him that he’s a flop. From what I understand, Kenta either never manifested special powers, or has an irrelevant amount of it. So per Tony, all he’s good for is a brute force and nobody would ever want him. Except for Daddy, of course. As for Way, I think Tony had huge plans for him in breeding department and he probably treated him pretty well. Although, if/when Way tried to rebel he must have punished him really hard so that even now Way breaks cold sweat and pales when Tony handles him. Nut was awesome in showing how scared and traumatized Way is by Tony. Also, I don’t think Way is “grade A” enigma. It looks like he can command only one person at a time. Once he commands another person, the first one comes to his senses as we saw with Babe and Charlie - Way just couldn’t keep control of both of them.
So, I think it’s both psychological and physical abuse that Tony puts the kids through. And it seems like a lot of powerful families do the same thing. I wonder if the story will deal with the whole issue or just with Tony.

I agree - that deep rooted psychological trauma and dependency has great impact for sure. Even as they became adults, it’s still hard to break away from it. I hope all the kids will be able to get free sooner rather than later.
Also, I tend to think Tony is immune to the command because there’s no way in hell that in all those years Way was never pushed to try his power on Tony. I think he actually did at some point and was severely punished to the extent he’s still trembling when Tony puts his hands on him.

He could be, especially if he’s a Beta who are regular people and are immune to all the Enigmas, Alphas and Omegas. Otherwise, I don’t see why Way wouldn’t just command him to forget about Babe and himself a long time ago. I am pretty intrigued by Tony’s character… 🧐😉

Quite possible. I would love to know more about Tony - his backstory, his powers, his goals. Hopefully, they’ll show it 😉

I’m so glad I saw your comment! I figured there must be some cultural differences between the two - do you know what they are? Based on the episode, Tokyo people are more uptight from Osaka’s people perspective. While Osaka people are louder, speak faster and too “buddy-buddy”.
What else is there and is there any real antagonism between the two?

Did I miss something, because we’re at episode 7 out of 12, and Te’s partner is nowhere in sight 🤷‍♀️ I can’t clearly see the poster, but it looks like Te is with a guy named Peach (based on the cast info)? Then again, did I miss something? 🤷‍♀️

I really don’t understand why people in the series keep calling Him and Te “friends”. What friends? In what universe? They hate each other’s guts! 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Yes, First seems to be smart and observant, so I hope they will bring some flashbacks of him having figured it out a while back, playing his own game on Sprite. To me, this is probably the only way this plot can be saved.
And yes, it drives me nuts when in some BLs they have women so obsessed with a dude they don’t even care he’s not into her - gay or not, just stop with this please! I personally don’t know of any young attractive woman who would keep banging against the wall of a guy not wanting her. Normally, a girl would just go “oh well”, and switch the “target” 😂especially when nothing was ever going on between her and her crush 🤷‍♀️

Right, I understand how Sprite was guilt tripped into the whole thing, but I agree - he should have grown a pair somewhere along the way.
To me, Mom is the main culprit, while Salmon is still a young girl and that’s where an adult should know better. Unfortunately, Dad went with the flow and didn’t put up any fight (his usual state I guess). The coach is not there half the time, and I honestly don’t remember if he’s in on this or not. But even if it’s just mom and dad who are aware of this (no matter whose idea it was) - to me, as an adult and a parent, adults here are totally at fault. Sprite is bringing this upon himself with the neverending lies, Zee is more of a psycho than not, Salmon is a mommy 2.0, and Tan is just trying to help his friend after stating his negative opinion about the whole thing. First is the only one who will suffer for absolutely no fault of his and it sucks.

I see. I didn’t watch the trailer, so to me Salmon was coming off as their good friend at first. The further into the series, the more disappointed I became with her. I understand she’s a female support character in a BL series, where by default boys are front and center, but come on, it really doesn’t hurt to have a well done supporting character of any gender in any series. Oh well… I just feel bad for First. He really doesn’t deserve this charade, especially when he trusted Sprite enough to be intimate, while Sprite was still hiding his identity. To me, it’s not fun and games at this point. It’s a valid reason for a huge blow up and break up.

To be fair, Tan suggested several times to stop this crap, but he’s not in a position to be a real influence here. So I can’t be mad at him. I guess this whole farce is on the adults first and foremost, then on Spite himself. Zee and Salmon couldn’t do shit if wasn’t such an eager martyr. The dude is ready to bend backwards for people who don’t even care about him, and he’s still being cheerful. Is he such an optimist or just an idiot? 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I don’t know why I keep hoping that Salmon talks some sense into Zee. It seems like she knows Sprite likes First, Sprite sacrificed a lot for Zee, even though Zee doesn’t give a crap about it. Zee can be civil only with Salmon, so why not sit him down and have an agreement to behave politely with First and table all flirting till future? I think she is the only person Zee would listen to, and she just doesn’t care enough about Sprite as it’s all about Zee for whatever reason to mom, dad, and apparently Salmon, too 🙄

I think Him’s mother threw a tantrum at the hospital about Him dating a guy. So to placate her, Him is being distant from Blue. I mean, if her accident was “nothing”, wouldn’t he have 3 minutes to text his boyfriend and give him an update? 🤷‍♀️
Also, Blue seems to be too dependent on Him in every aspect, and that’s just not healthy for Blue himself. Partners don’t have to be with each other all the time. Find something to do of your own, friends of your own and your relationship will be better for it.
I totally understand Blue’s scare of the taxi driver and that’s where he really needed support, if not from his boyfriend - then from a friend. I’m not sure why he didn’t call Te, though. Blue said several times that Te was his best friend 🤷‍♀️
Oh well, let’s see what happens next…
