Actually, I just started watching the Chinese original and I think all the guys there are very handsome! They are not dolled up cuties (nothing against the cuties btw 😉), they are really good looking men. I appreciate various types of beauty (or handsomeness), so I love the Chinese drama so far. Will also watch Thai version, let’s see what they come up with. I haven’t seen many historical Thai dramas, so it will be interesting even just from that perspective 😊

I actually liked it, I do enjoy seeing other countries and learn about their culture. So I can take that instead of a plot, and NC scenes were fine.
As for the ending, P was not ready for a relationship. He was still too emotionally unavailable. Pan was initiating almost every contact while P was clearly out of his comfort zone with his feelings for Pan and he still has a lot of work to do to open up. I think they might do another season with P meeting Pan again.

It’s probably because unlike a dog, love comes whenever it wants and really doesn’t care about your needs while walking all over you 😉

Could be a plot hole, or wrong translation. There could be some sort of procedure to add a person to a family registry which could entail certain responsibilities for all the parties involved.

Seriously, though, how do you establish guardianship over a healthy adult??? Is this something practiced in Korea, or is it just a plot hole?

Maybe he understands basic Korean and terms specific to his job, but they want him to understand exactly what is being said during the show.

That would be nice since again, the boss seemed to be fully engaged with the team during their work on the project and nobody was complaining. I also work in IT, and the thing is - since they’re a small team creating a unique product, Krom’s skills for this project are unique and the boss just can’t afford to piss Krom off like that. If Krom quits, the boss will have to spend a ridiculous amount of time to find a replacement and train that person before they can even start working on that portion of the product. So, if there was something really urgent that the boss needed to resolve and only Krom can do it, he would beg and grovel and promise overtime pay, extra vacation days and his firstborn on top.
So let’s go with your theory and not with the boss going batshit crazy in 20 minutes 😁👍

Ok, I don’t get the boss going all aggressive on Krom all of a sudden. If he’s always been an ass it should be shown somewhere along the story. But he created a company that only allows positive posts, so he seems more like an escapist type, kumbaya, world peace etc.
So… also, I have never in my work life in the US heard of bosses announcing vacation to everyone, then denying it to a single person. That smells like a lawsuit, but ok, let’s see what they have in mind… 🤷‍♀️
Other than this, loved Kor/Namsom story, happy for them! 😻

Seriously, why waste all that time for the sunshine torture if you’ve already established that the wound to his chest has healed all by itself in minutes??? It made me really question if Yoh likes Pun even a little bit. Normally, you wouldn’t want the person you like to suffer from pain, right? Yoh knows Pun is very sensitive to sunlight, and still insists he goes under it??? And stands there, watching Pun suffer? Why??? What did it accomplish? It’s like knowing the person has peanut allergy, and asking them to eat some peanuts just to see what’s going to happen. “Oh, so you don’t die from it, just get swallen”?
Even the girls went with this crap, just standing there, waiting instead of smacking idiot Yoh with the damn umbrella. I was so disappointed with all of them honestly 😣

No problem! Actually, from what I see, Ryota is very analytical (he calls it overthinking), to the point where once he sees a puzzle his brain won’t let go until it’s solved. That’s very relatable to me. Of course, a puzzle has to be of an interest to me, so I think this particular puzzle is of a great interest to Ryota 😉

Actually, I don’t find it impossible at all 😊 If my girl friend complained (or I thought she was complaining) about it, I would volunteer to see what the problem might be as I am pretty analytical and would need data collected to solve the issue 😂

I did like the ending! I’m glad both characters successfully went through their learning curve and came out if it with better understanding of each other and themselves.
My only moment of concern was when Miyata apologized to mommy for “tearing their family apart” 😡I only hope he said it to just be polite and it’s some kind of cultural thing. The old hag tore her family apart, nobody else! But ok, I will count it as Miyata being overly nice. 🤷‍♀️
I think all actors did great, and I really liked Iwanaga’s assistant - he was so sassy! He needs his own series as a main lead and he should get his own man who would love and spoil him rotten! 😻

I haven’t watched the finale yet, so from what I understand, Miyata has trust issues with Iwanaga. He is one of those people who are too much in their head, coming up with a thousand explanations and all of them are negative. Since Iwanaga never explains anything, Miyata goes straight to the worst case scenario, which is - Iwanaga doesn’t really want him and he’s checking if Iwanaga wants to break up.
Again, personally, my answer to a stupid question like that would be “yeah, sure”, but if I knew how insecure my partner is and that it’s my fault - I would reassure him and tell him that he just needs to sit tight and let me deal with my dreadful family. I would never use words “take a break” as our relationship would be going forward full speed. My dealings with mommy dearest would have no implications, and I would definitely explain it to my partner.
Again, just personal perspective ☺️I hope they get their happy end, will go watch it now 😉
