spoiler ish if you haven’t watched this drama:

finished this drama for the second time. weird because its a good ending but its just not satisfying. I don’t think he should have returned in the same garb for some reason. I feel like he should have came back wearing maybe white or plain black? it’s odd that he pops back in like no time has passed. no weakness upon reentry into the immortal realm. same age, same look, same clothes. it’s a bit jarring, as if he was just playing hide and seek. we want a good ending but lawd, not like this. I think if he ended up being comatose AND THEN *500 years pass* and then he wakes up would have been a better segway for his return. sigh. still a great drama though.

this was totally DYLANS DRAMA. he killed it. his delivery, his expressions, his demeanor. excellent job and kudos to him

how exciting that WL may be casted in another costume drama! had no idea this was even on the horizon. I do hope it’s a diff female lead though. she’s cute and all but she just ain’t my fave. tian xi Wei would be good. id also love to see him with zhang rou nan

I don’t know what came over me when I watched this drama but I was eating out of the palm of its hand. but now I try and go back and rewatch and it’s a total cringefest.

I AM REWATCHING FOR THE 4TH TIME and I came all the way back here to say you know what??? seojun was a better fit for her. it felt like he loved her for who she was early on. and the way he constantly cared for her behind the scenes??? they should have made a drama with MKY and HIY to soothe the sting
