yeah I want something that shows range for her, honestly she could probably handle it. but maybe her or her label feels like it’s more important to milk the cuteness factor? I don’t know…but bc she’s so likeable, they’re pumping out all these dramas with her in it and it’s like man I love spaghetti but after eating it over and over again, I just don’t crave it anymore.

Lusi’s cute but after hidden love, I’m starting to feel like she’s like a one trick pony that’s really good at her one trick - cutesy, strong willed female lead. So I was going to take a break from her dramas and skip this one esp since the ML resembles a friend of mine I’m not too fond of too. Part of the reason why I started watching was because I was so curious why the rating is so dang low. YuanQi’s character is pretty entertaining. And Yin coming back as something else that no one knows about creates an interesting twist.

Ugh I hate to say it but ML and FL could be sliiiightly better in terms of execution. ML still comes across as inexperienced albeit improving, and Lusi’s still acting within her limited range of a cute hardheaded lovable girl. Just my personal opinion. Currently on episode 2! I think right now it’s at least an 8-8.5
