maybe it was bc FL character was too baby then that whenever jiaxu asserted himself it seemed a bit overbearing. it was annoying to me to watch. the relationship started out really strong for me but started dwindling. I think LYY’s character is a bit more hot blooded too, can really see his primal instincts coming through whenever he looks like he wants to devour YinGuo. I think maybe bc LYY can see her like that, it allows the audience to see her as a grown up too? whereas JX wasn’t as firey in his pursuit.

for those of us who have watched hidden love and this, I think there’s a lot of similarities between Duan Jiaxu and Lin Yi Yang. both are very protective and sweet and attentive. who do we like more? which character? (not talking about the actors, both are great in their own right. talking specifically about the characters) for me, I don’t know why duan jiaxu came across as tooooo protective and he treated his gf like a child. I didn’t like that. but it’s weird bc Yiyang does the same kind of protectiveness but I don’t feel like he’s treating YinGuo like a child. was curious on what the fandom thinks! are they similar? how are they different? who would you want more as a life partner?

yeah I must agree. very spicy when men say stuff like that. just my personal opinion. but especially because we know the back story in this case, that she’s also all in for him.

same, unfortunately I couldn’t finish the drama bc of the female lead. no doubt they both did well though, heard good things about NBY

I was just thinking about his similarities with his Galaxy character. I must agree. it’s the same hard exterior but soft interior. it’s okay though, he plays this character well. and his chemistry with ZJM! love to see it

I feel like ZJM does a really good job portraying a young shy girl who’s strong on her own but simply succumbing to her own feelings of first love. I think sometimes this role is difficult to execute because the FL can come across as annoying, naive, childish…etc. But as an audience member, I can feel like she’s an intelligent woman who’s just nervous around the guy she’s falling hard for. I also like how there isn’t this annoying push and pull that the leads are doing. yeah she says no to the hug but it’s written all over her face that she’d love one. she’s such a joy to watch here!

I feel pretty confident their managers/labels said to not have any interaction. even as regular costars they should chat a bit. I bet it’s to prepare the fandom for this snowstorm ship. their lack of interaction was way too odd and obvious.
