Im still on episode 9 but I’ve literally been powering through this drama, started yesterday. What an unexpected jewel. I realized without ShiQi I’m not as interested. Come baccckk. I’m guessing right now it’s XiangLiu’s time to shine.

I wanted to be surprised but then I also really wanted to know. I’m a hot mess. They do such a good job having me root for ShiQi. Call me shallow but I don’t like the look of Zhang Wanyi so I couldn’t root for him. Even though they’re childhood sweethearts. He doesn’t have male lead vibes for me.

Girl that’s what I figured. It’s always gonna be the biggest characters on the poster. I’m sad now.

The only other drama I watched of him is Our Secret and he was so good. I tried Mr Bad but I just didn’t like the story line very much.

evERYTime he looked at her, he looked at her like he hadn’t seen her in a long time or she was going to go somewhere far forever or that she’s the most beautiful person he’s ever seen in his entire existence. His expression execution was excellent.

Did you like Gen Z? That’s how I felt about Gen Z and I was so sad. Aw! It’s unfortunate that this drama isn’t doing it for you… maybe watch a few more episodes? Or drop it and find a better one? ☹️

This drama is so good and I don’t even know why. It’s common tropes galore with quick glance exchanges and unspoken mutual feels like every other romcom cdrama and I am 100% here for it.
