This is now my lowest rated kdrama out of ~250 that I've seen.

I recall in S1 of Heart Signal that the panel explained "catfish" are meant to be disruptive. This was certainly the case in Transit Love S2 (Hyun Kyu), Heart Signal Korea S2 (Hyun Woo) & S4 (Yisoo) and Singles Inferno S2 (Dex); Outside of these examples, they generally have had little/no impact in the dozens of other kdating shows I've watched.

I don't think his treatment of YD was a "mistake" he knew exactly what he was doing...keeping his option open in case JY rejected his comfession/marriage proposal.

Maybe it's just me, but I lost a lot of respect for him when he was talking about his "strategy" in the lounge and that he didn't care about other people's feelings. Everyone in the lounge looked bewildered when he said that.

I have no problem with JM and JY friends to lovers arc, but I think he lied to YD when he said she was his top pick. Nothing about his demeanor during their talks indicated he was still romantically interested in her. He also said in his last interview that he only thought about JY the day before.

My gut tells me JY is aware that he's been keeping his options open and reject him - at least that's what I hope.

I hope when JM watches EP8 that he recognizes how leading YD on really hurt her feelings.

The women on this show outclass the men there IMO (I'm a guy).

Also goes to show that success of dating shows starts and ends with casting.

PD can't give them screentime if they aren't getting picked for dates.

Kind of boring now that JM and JS have become centers of attention. I'm surprised a student is attracting most of the women.

Both catfish are non-existant. I forgot surgeon was even on this show until he showed up to tell HK about his long talk with YS

While I agree he resented his dad for his infidelity, I feel he did look up to him as a writer/director. I felt like he couldn't live up to his father leading to his 5 yr slump.

That simplicity is powerful though. In an instant, his father who he looked up to is a fraud and he realizes the movie script was from his mom's perspective. This parallels with Da Eum's POV as a terminally ill person like his mom and causes him to rewrite his script so she can have a happy ending.

I love that there is no wasted screentime, meaning every interaction between all the characters has an impact.

Even the sandwiches look tasty, not the usual subway or quiznos.
