Title Loving Strangers Spoiler
Hey, I saw someone say Jia Qi wasn’t wearing a ring in the last scene. Not sure if that’s true though, I’m…
He was wearing his ring when he was breaking down at home in the last episode. However, when in his CEO office, there is a photo with him and his mother where he's not wearing his ring and it seems that he's not wearing it when talking with the open folder in his hand. Unfortunately, the last scenes [outside the coffee shop], he has his left hand in his pocket. I choose to believe that they split amicably as I honestly don't think that relationship was salvageable. I can live with that ending.

Akiko for the win! Honestly... a fun, light and enjoyable series. Acting and pace were fine and the storyline held up. Would certainly enjoy a second season. Also, a guest star role for Nakamura Anne is always a welcome addition.

Just finished and I really wished I had binged this instead of viewing the weekly drops. Overall, it was an uncomfortable watch with morally questionable themes. I did enjoy the FL's acting, thought she did a great job. This is certainly not for everyone and I'm not sure it was entertaining. It did raise different emotions and made me try to understand the FL's point of view [and what was behind her decisions]. Ending was better than expected honestly.

I dropped. It is too erksome. The negative feeling just builds. I dropped midway through episode 1. I can't comprehend…
Yeah, that's about what I wanted to say. Well stated.

I find that I am more sympathetic towards Jiang Jia Qi's wife (Chinese version) than I was towards Park Dong Hun's…
I came here [again] to say this exact thing about the wife. She was more fleshed out as a character in this adaptation and you could understand her situation + actions. Not condoning anything here, but there is more understanding for the viewer. Excellent acting on her part as well.

I'm finding it hard to verbalize the watching experience. Awkward? Maybe. Angry? No that's not it. Someone down below used the term "uncomfortable". I think that's close enough. I'm planning on finishing this but it's not super enjoyable at the moment (I just finished episode 4).

This was a very decent watch. Interesting storyline, great acting and music. It dragged a little at times but Akane's positivity and smile pulled you through those.

Surprisingly better than I expected. Honestly, Jisoo did fine... much better than Snowdrop and improvement should always be looked at as a positive. Light, fun, and entertaining. Ha Young was great, here's hoping that more main characters come her way. Was hoping for more screen time for Ryu Abel, she was underutilized but I guess not every side character gets a backstory.

haha I've now memorised them
^^^ This ^^^ It's odd to realize how many times I have songs from this and Something in the Rain going through my head for no apparent reason.

I have no idea why I liked this so much... but I did. Just general happenings with some interesting twists and interactions. Well written dialog and great acting [especially the 3 female leads]. Surprisingly, the music really added to the whimsical atmosphere. Great watch!

rarely do i post mid series but i'm all in on this one as it's right up my alley. really like the positivity in this, kicking at the darkness until you see sunlight. however, i can't believe they haven't banned white transport trucks in korea! they seem to be the largest factor in population decline.

I had high hopes for this one as I really appreciate Han Ji-min as an actor. However, the writing in this just isn't for me so I'm dropping after 2 episodes. Best of luck to those carrying on, I hope you enjoy it.

Okay, two episodes watched and I'm all in. I haven't been this engaged in something new since Motel California... and I hope it doesn't turn out like that did.

I think I'll spend the rest of the week building a time machine to transport myself back to when I first started watching this show...to slap some sense in to me. I dropped this during episode 2 but after reading reviews decided to start watching again. With each episode I hoped that it would get better but it didn't. Then it just became the need to complete and, well, curiosity of how much worse it could get. Had high hopes due to Kim Min Ha and she honestly delivered but her character wasn't fleshed out. Lee Jun Ho is very good looking but that doesn't make him a good actor... although he was better here than King the Land. I didn't find any of the Typhoon Trading employees likeable and the family members were hit and miss [the Mom was okay as was the kid]. One of the lowest ratings I've given to a series that I completed. I'm mad at myself for wasting my time.
On My Daughter Is a Zombie Feb 28, 2026
Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Not your typical zombie movie and that's okay! Great acting by everyone, especially Choi Yu Ri... she never broke character. Two hours well spent and I think I'll go grab a churro.

This was a very entertaining series. Was is perfect? No, but it was definitely engaging and kept my interest until the very end. Shin Hye-sun was excellent as always, she never ceases to impress and become the character[s]. Bonus points for having Lee Yi-dam towards the end... I could have watched a full series about her character's journey. Will rewatch at a later date.

I really enjoyed this series, it was well worth my time. Great story about living to the fullest no matter what the circumstances. Jeon Yeo Been was excellent [as usual] and special shout-outs to Lee Seol and Oh Kyung Hwa, they were wonderful. Namkoong Min was good as well but I can't help but feel that he delivers his lines in a similar manner [and attitude] in all the series that I've seen him in... this, My Dearest, One Dollar Lawyer.

Surprisingly good! Light, entertaining and fun... what more could you want? Yoona's acting continues to get better and Bo Hyun is solid as usual. Story did not unfold as expected but that made it even better. A solid use of 2 hours.
