I want to understand your criticism but I’m confused by your first paragraph. Could you please give an example…
I think it’s easy to understand. Everything felt superficial. When I say “explored things in depth” I don’t mean spoiling everything in two episodes and leaving no mystery. I mean not leaving the audience confused for two episodes either.
Every time a scene came on, I found myself wishing it would last longer so we could learn more. I wanted a real introduction but it didn’t feel like one. Many dramas in the past managed to create a proper introduction within the first two episodes. Here, those first two episodes felt empty. That’s why it’s hard to connect with some of the characters.
You can understand my point or you might not and that’s ok. This is just how I felt and that’s fine. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. ty
I’m a bit disappointed to say this but the storyline (and the script overall) felt quite lacking in these first 2 episodes. Nothing was really explored in depth, most elements were introduced but never fully developed which made everything come across as somewhat superficial.
It’s especially unfortunate because there are clearly strong aspects to the production. The casting choices are solid even if the acting don’t always feel as convincing as they could be. Visually, though, the show is stunning. It’s obvious that a significant budget went into the cinematography, set design, and overall production quality.
But impressive visuals can only carry a series so far. Without a deeper, more engaging script, it’s hard to feel truly invested in the story or the characters... Still, it’s early on and there’s plenty of time for the show to find its way. I’m hopeful that the upcoming episodes will deliver a more compelling and emotionally engaging experience
I loved the drama compared to others these days... I felt it brought back the 2016 K vibes which thrusted me in…
2016 k-dramas were so good. I really miss them. Shows these days all feel the same and I feel like they’re missing the special touches they had back then. But you’re right, this show might not be the best, but it’s worth watching, and it’s an easy watch
He really was, he’s such a good actor and portrayed the character he was playing so well. He understood the assignment and did a great job. Like you said, he really was the only one worthy of attention haha
I hate to say this but I really feel like Kim Jung Hyun carried the entire show. His performance was outstanding and in every episode I found myself excited to see what his character would do next. Unfortunately, after his character died, the show went downhill. The final few episodes were especially weak and the last episode was honestly one of the worst finales I’ve seen in a k-drama.
I even found myself skipping parts, wishing I had just stopped at episode 11, it would have been a much better ending. It’s disappointing because the show had so much potential and I’m not sure why things took such a turn. That said, one thing is certain, Kim Jung Hyun is an incredible actor, and I really hope to see him in more projects in 2026.
It’s definitely not the drama of the year, it’s not great, but it’s also not that bad... The acting can be a bit awkward or cringe at times, and the quality isn’t the best, but I think the storyline is interesting enough to keep watching. It’s far from excellent, but there’s some potential. It’s the kind of drama you can watch without overthinking, just something light to pass the time and relax a bit 😌
Honestly, the first 10 episodes were excellent and so promising. Now, I have just one thing to say: WTF is happening? The story is going completely off track, it's such a mess.
The fact that Mekhin is now "Mark" and reinvented himself was so unnecessary for the plot and the story of the show. And what’s going on with Meena? What’s this sudden huge love for Mekhin? Why is she chasing after HIM? He should be the one chasing after her, especially after how he treated her in the last episodes.
I just have one thing to say: WTF
This show could have easily been a solid 9/10, but it’s dropping to a 5/10 because of this new direction.
I'm honestly pretty shocked. I ended up really loving the first three episodes! This show pulled me out of my drama slump, and now I'm excited for new episodes every week. The suspense, the mystery—everything is so well done! You can really tell the budget is there.
And as always, nothing to say about Alek's acting, it's still absolutely amazing!
What's going on with these low camera angles that are all weird? It’s a 2025 lakorn, but honestly, the framing makes it look like it’s from 10 years ago. That said, the remake is actually well done so far, and the actors are great! I’m excited to see what’s next.
Kind of but it wasn't really on purpose as TQ saw one of SCC's forms and it just keeps happening while SCC had…
There are only six episodes out so far, and the deception against the ML is still there. However, the FML never intended to change her face. It all happened by accident. Just watch the first two or three episodes; it's not that bad!
I stopped at episode 9, because I was waiting for all the episodes to come out. Now I see that the rating has gone down a lot. What's going on? Could someone please spoil the ending for me?
I'm really shocked at how good this drama is! I wasn't expecting much, I thought it was going to be a college c-drama like all the others, but it actually surprised me. And seriously, the storyline about psychology and ''lying'' was excellent and so spot-on. It's something I think everyone can relate to in some way, and the angle they took on it was just brilliant.
This drama isn’t serious tho.It was made for fun and giggles.ML was placed in his position bcz of nepotism, you…
But that's exactly what I said... I said he got his role (the director of the company) through nepotism. I wasn't talking about the real life haha
I just meant that him looking very young doesn’t seem serious (to me) since he's supposed to be in his late twenties (29-30). In another comment, I added that maybe the fact that he looks much younger than his character’s age was intentional from the start. I understand everything.
I also understand when you mentioned that the show was meant to be funny and not too serious; and that's why I concluded that maybe it's just not the right show for me, and that's okay haha
If your grandma is the owner of the company, anything is possible, especially in many Asian countries.
I know that! My initial comment has nothing to do with nepotism; I'm talking about the casting choice. But like someone else said, this show isn’t meant to be taken seriously; it was made for fun and giggles. So yeah, maybe that choice was intentional from the start. Maybe they wanted to cast someone who looks much younger and doesn’t match the expected age.
And like I said, maybe it's not my cup of tea, but I'm happy to see you and others enjoying it.

I'm not even talking about the fact that the ML got the role through nepotism. I just mean the casting choice might not have been the best since he looks like a teenage boy rather than someone who's supposed to be around 28-30 years old.
Anyway, maybe it's just not my cup of tea, but I'm glad to see it gets enough appreciation from everyone else. To each their own!
Also, just to be clear, I don’t care about the age gap. I’ve seen so many shows with much bigger age differences (whether the woman is older or the guy), and it was fine. I feel like people are twisting my words.

This is getting way out of proportion 😭
