Watch this if you can ENDURE: Stupidity masked with innocence, foolishness behind the immature acts, annoying because FL Iied in the name of the family sake (throughout the story), bad guys are actually good guys if they have proper and acceptable reason, also self-repent meant as a punishment.
And I warned you, this was a truly fluffy-light-romance story with throne issue as spices but I will still continue watch the drama as I like the silly cold attitude of the ML, eventhough i was still annoyed cuz the whole reasons for the conflicts are misunderstanding and miscommunication.

I think so, cuz he gave up his throne to Prince Jin when ZhongLi gave him the testament or something

I dont think it's about father and daughter relationship. Actually, he's been entrusted his father's friend's daughter, so he became her guardian made him felt like he was like a father. Mmm i think to watch this story, you need a change of perspective first. Because the ML is too young to have a big girl anyhow.
