So basically guwon is known as a flawless demon who doesn't need security in his place because he can sense when. Humans enter the place and he doesn't want anyone to know his secret because I believe if there was CCTV in his foundation, anybody could sneak in and know what's going on there just like how the villain was able to have access to madam ju CCTV room. Anyways when guwon lost his power his main deal is to get his power back from do do hee but he did not bother putting any security guard around his place because he thought(imo)that he is not a threat to anyone that's why the crazy villain was able to break in and also take the book(blame guwon for playing hide and seek with his secretary) also the crazy villain is able to follow do do hee by using different masked faces so that no one can easily recognize him.

That's how the writer wanted his character to be like. When he had his powers he was proud of himself that no one could touch him or do anything. After he lost his powers he is experiencing how it feels like to be human but it's hard for him. About the murder mystery maybe it will be solved later 🙂.
