Maybe because they asked each other"Are you happy?". Poor Mi Kyung now she is more insecured and reckless using desperate schemes. Loved that the ML ran after her. He learnt the lesson. Good boy!

Looks better than I thought...

For me Soo Young is piling mistakes. Everything happened because of her wrong judgement and wrong choice and decision. She did not want to see how much the ML liked her and she dropped him to run to another man. After noticing her mistake, she decided to stay with that man and she took care of him like a younger brother for a year.

Sang Soo has his flaws but I can understand him. The woman you have been liking for years chooses another man to date in your face. How hurtful it must be. But a pretty woung woman likes you and wants you to be her bf? He accepts of course! Just to kill the pain and to feel being loved for a bit of time. And if it becomes one year, probably the relationship is no so bad. Comfortable at the minimum.

Mi Kyung is up front, confident and smart to make things go her way but there is also weakness in her. I am not sure she does not trust Sang Soo because of what happened to her. He is not the same kind of man as her ex. I think she is not genuine not natural with him. If she was, they could be a great couple.

Jong Hyun is a bland character who showed a nice side to the FL to woo her while she was struggling to build a relationship with the ML. But in reality he is still a kid who cannot live up to his own words and promises he made to the FL. He will not end badly and will surely become a decent man but a huge crisis will happen before that.

When the FL and SML started dating, SML failed the exam and ran away. ML said seasons passed. And the SML failed the exam again. There is only one police recruitment exam per year in South Korea. So it means we are one year later.

I agree this is not something Sang Soo should have a say in. She should do the part of it with her bf and take her own decision. I think she was answering his question with another question for a reason. Maybe she wants him to know her situation and be closer to her like a confident.

One year elapsed already and they are still stuck in their wrong couple. I also think there will a huge time jump to make all this more realistic. Something like 5 or 6 years.

The sex was bad since they were both is the wrong mindset. SML entered her room and just went for it without caring about her feelings. She was compelled to accept to bed because he was he bf and they were already living together. She did not seem to really want it.

I liked ep9 because they went on with their own couple even if it meant to be in an unhappy relationship. I agree it seems like their respective couple is going to collapse before they start cheating... SML is so not the kind, promising guy he looked and FL is chased after by her own past. I wonder why her ex did what he did to her? These two have a fishy connection.

Each eps is a lot of torture and only few nice moments like that beach moment. At least they talk more openly and feel more comfortable with each other.

But after thinking things through, she still made the wrong decision: to stay with her bf.

One year. Because just after FL and SML started dating he failed at the examination. And now he failed again so logically for me one year has passed. One year... with each of them in their own couple... seeing the other one in his/her couple... It is a lot. This is why I love their last discussion. It has more meaning when you know one year has passed.

At this point, I also think it is the most probable ending.

I liked her for being up front and confident then I pitied her for borrowing fake joys then I despised her for making bitch moves and... today's episode... She was so insecured and weak... I liked her.

They are lying to themselves and suppressing their feelings for such a long time trying to cope with a love routine where they are not the slightest happy... Fire will rage at the first opportunity.

That way of doing... It is a skill from her but here she went to far... because she felt threatened by what she discovered.

It has to become physical. Both their mind suppressing strong feelings... at some stage their body will loose control.

Agree the desk was messy but she should have asked before touching everything.

What is not so obvious is that one year already happened and he and she toned down things. Probably something will trigger them again but I will not be mad about it. For one year, he was cool about how things were.
