What a start! Speedy developments like a short cdrama....

The marriage plot is still annoying but the swap of soul has tiggered some very fun and interesting situations.

One historical cdrama where ML and FL sleep together before wedding. So good.

Some flaws but overall It was good.

Yes he died before the wedding but based on the preview of next ep where FL is in mourning clothes, some people suggested she is deemed married and she is a widow because the marriage was agreed already. I am a little bit confused myself but let's see...

I do not know. I am just thinking "Can the father ask for an annnulment of the wedding because he did not know who the fiancé really was"? He agreed to the marriage and FL knew so the other party can say it was not them but his own daughter who lied.

Anyway I am curious about how she will get out of the situation because if she is a widow, how will a Grand Prince marry a widow?

I have not noticed anything blatantly suspicious about him. I thought ok the guy is too much of a nice guy to the point he is bland. Now I am curious to know his background if he really is an impostor.

This drama is pretty good with twists and schemes and counter schemes. So I would not be surprised if there is a surprise revelation about Mr Yan...

I absolutely don't want to see him married to RSB and living his statesman's or official's life in the Capital and she lives her Rong leader's life in her local place. This would mean ML is just another one of the many men who married Rong daughters. All these husbands went to seek a career outside and never appear in the Rong clan. Sad.

ML and FL their relationship is all about worrying, caring, helping, supporting each other. Working together, using each other's intelligence and abilities by acceptation or manipulation. This is what great friends, great partners, great coworkers, great teams do. I doubt this is what a couple of lovers do.

Maybe Mr Yan is actually the perfect marriage partner for FL. This way she can manage her family, boss her clan, scheme her actions to protect and develop the Rong... and he will always be there to support and advise her quietly 24/7.

Minister Xu's daughter is also a good match for ML. She is cute, smart, well educated, honest and she has wisdom. She is wifey material for a talented and ambitious state man who wants to work for the country and the people and not only for a woman and her clan.

Not sure how things will evolve but I hope they won't make Mr Yan and Ms Xu dirty and turn them into bad people. As for ML and FL, I think they can't end up together if they keep being the person they are now.

Historically, the widows of this era were mistreated. They had to mourn their deceased husband during years and stay with his family. The law discouraged their willingness to remarry with unjust measures. Their descendents could not pass state exam or hold office or people arranging their marriage would be punished.

I don't get why the writer put that fate on the FL. Here we are so probably he will use a stunt to make sure that there is a happy ending for ML and FL

I was really annoyed with this lame marriage plot. I thought it was over with the death of the fiancé aka grandpa Lim. But if what you say is true, it is really going to annoy me more for a long time since widows of that era had no right to break free for their husband's family and start a new life.

He is petty and cruel. Because FL said if she wins, her brother should stop hanging out with him, he forced her to shoot on her brother, his so called friend, risking that an accident could have him killed. Puting her brother's life at risk just to get back at her, is this not a cruel way of doing?

I do not know how the SML can improve and develop his character because he is really contradicted. He will probably fight his own father at some point. Still I doubt he will really be a good person one day.

I doubt the SML can turn into a genuinely nice guy. He and FL share a similar birth situation but they grew up to be completely different persons. She is caring, gentle, knowledgeable, dedicated, compassionate, filial (a bit too much), harworking to help the sick and the poor. He on the contrary is an angry man frustrated by his origin and it made him a mean person.

I don't know how he can get his head out of his ass. Probably he will be nice to the FL because he is infatuated with her but I doubt he can become a real good person. So I doubt he will end up with the SFL. He detests her and her origin, mocks her and she doesn't seem to like him either. She has her eyes set on other men too. I'd prefer if she ends up with any other guy. Even the ML's bodyguard would do.
