I avoided Youth of May because it was written "tragic ending" all over it. I don't mind a sad ending but when I am surprised by it and I consider it is a proper ending that makes sense. People mostly say good thing about the drama YoM so maybe I will watch it... when I find some time.

I like that there is not so much info on the next eps. I am also not looking for them. I am mentally prepared for the ending. It is ok if it is a sad ending. As long as it is a good one.

I don't think SK will make koreans live happily ever after in China. If it happens, it will be Germany or Argentina. Plus so far, they are more likely to become enemies.

Romeo's dad and Juliet's dad are in cahoots but they are not the ones pulling the strings. Probably they will be part of the final list of damages.

But what matters is the story. It is ok so far thanks to the spy plot but I am not sure where this is going. I fear a tragic ending.

It happened too fast. SBS started to apologize, promised reshoots... the scandal went viral and JE was cancelled 4 days after the airing of ep1.

Snowdrop saw early attacks on the web in March of 2021. They had time to make sure of the content of the drama even if a crowd of enraged netizens cannot be really controlled.

The ruling of the court said not only the claims have no ground but the entity making the claim, South Korean youth organization World’s Citizens, has no ground to make an application against the drama. I am wondering why they did not call the Association of the victims of ANSP in 1987 to file the injunction?

I really wanted to watch Joseon Exorcist. This just because some of people who did not like the props or because one character did not behave like they wanted.

There is something wrong when the netizens decide what can be broadcasted or not. It is the dictatorship of an outraged minority. I am glad JTBC stood in their boots and a court made a decision rightfully in favor this drama. Probably the issue won't die down quickly but it tells at least that the Law was applied to these netizens and their fake claims.

Advocacy democracy was invented so that people can bring matters to the rulers or the government and a fair and just solution can be found. It was never designed for whiners to dictate what should be brought to the audience and what should not because of their own understanding or speculations on the subject.

Good thing that a court decided that this drama is doing nothing wrong in term of law and rights. There will still be some people to try to take this drama down because these keyboard warriors love to try to take things down from behing their computer. I am happy for the actors and crew and people who made this drama. Let's watch it and hope it keeps being good.

They sure are interesting. I am very eager to learn their backstory. What Gang Moo's lost colleague meant for him or why he dumped her suddenly... But still... what they do... is reckless and unlawful.

It is evidences they are not so good...

They both are reckless. He, when he led his squad in the dormitory with no warrant and she when she started shooting on the dormitory when she knew nothing about safety.

I don't even mention all their infringement of the basic procedures and their doings against the human rights of individuals. Holding a civilian at gunpoint or covering the beating of a civilian suspect... for example.

When he entered the cabin, he surely did not know there was a passage back to the Univerity's dormitory. The ANSP agents did not notice anything. He could have chosen better. I guess life is also made of mistakes...

Too big of a risk to keep her out of suspicion. Not only he took her at gunpoint. He used her as a shield. Meaning if any of the ANSP'guy feels like he is a cow boy and starts shooting, she gets hit first. As a professionnal, he could not ignore that.

This is why I can believe he likes her but so far, her life worths less than his mission.

I understand the paper plane but I still don't get why he used the secret passage to go back to the dormitory. The ANSP did not seem to notice there was a second room and a secret passage. He could have waited for the night and sneak his way out from the cabin. Because he went back to the dormitory, The ANSP understood later there is a passage from the cabin to the University's dormitory. This is how used it to trap him in the end of ep5.

I don't know if it is because he really wanted to see her again or there is a bigger scheme behind but I thought he was not very smart on that move. But ok, we are all humans.

I understand her reasons but I can't excuse her choices. She knows the rules of the dormitory. She made her fellow roomates hide the guy thinking he is a student activist chased by the police. She should have reported the situation to the head of the dormitory. Now if someone in the dormitory dies, she will have it on her conscience. So far she saved no one. She endangered everyone.

I believe Im Soo Ho has something for Young Ro. This is why he escaped to meet her in the store or he lost time in the mountain and got trapped in the cabin in the wood. I don't understand why he went back to the dormitory from this cabin. He knew the ANSP woul chase him until there. Why he did that and provoked the hostage situation? And then he hold her at gunpoint and used her as a shield. That's so bad. I too am very curious to see how they are going to bring up a romance from this point..

He had to take an impartial and smart move to elude the tension and a possible violent outcome. This is why he brought up his fellow comrade's injury. Smart move. He looked composed to me.

Same here. Ep6 preview is quite intriguing. But I hope they won't drag the situation for too long.

I did not feel that. I felt he was like ... : "Ok, let's cool things down I have plenty of things to manage".
