You suggested "seems" instead of "looks" and I agreed it is probably more appropriate because it refers to an impression about someone based on multiple criteria when people seem focused on the "look" when the word used is "looks".
But when we say "this person looks like a huge liar", the opinion of liar is not based on his appearance but rather on the mannerism, the tics, the place he look at when speaking, the assurance of the voice...
I feel like some SJWs here just need to make a crusade to feel great. I personally assume what I wrote. To me, Ji Wan does not look like she is gay like Sol is clearly gay the way she is looking at Ji Wan, how she reacts when they have physical contact, how she avoid her, how she looks unfomfortable when a guy tries to woo her. I can see and feel the tension which proves that she has a physical attraction to Ji Wan but the other way around is not true for me.
As for the ML he looks a freak because he has the manners of a freak. He is not conflicted about his feelings for Na Bi, he does not have feelings for her or he would not treat her that way. Maybe he treats women badly because he likes men in reality?
So what you are telling me is that if gay people identify themselves using stereotypes it is their right but people who are not gay use the same stereotypes to form their opinion, it is wrong and homophobic?

To let you know, I am not the one who created the stereotypes and representations about gay people. It is the gay people who made their own stereotypes in a way to assume and live their homosexuality. So if they are hurt because of these stereotypes, they should be angry at themselves first. To say someone looks gay has nothing hostile against gay people. It is just assessing a person based on the stereotypes the gay people created themselves.
I will call a cat a cat and a gay a gay. There is nothing wrong in this as it does not mean I am prejudiced against cats or gays.
As for the SJWs who want to make a trial of intent against my comments, it just makes me laugh.

Again, my cousin looked gay. At age 19 he never had boy friends. He was always more comfortable with girls as a teen. When his brother and cousins talked about girlfriends, he never participated in the discussion. He never went to invite a girl to dance during weddings or parties. He made sometimes weird gestures with his arms and hands when he talked, like a precious person. Not all gay persons behave like that. most of them probably not but his behavior and antics were characteristics. Yeah he looked gay like in the cliché and when he made his coming out, his mom cried. Not because she did not notice he was looking gay, but because she knew it meant the end of the life she, as his mother, always wanted for him.
Sorry to tell you this but when you do things, when you speaks, the way you behave in a certain way, you send signals to other people who will interpret these signals and form their own opinion about you. They will think and say you look gay, or stupid, or cute... that's their opinion and they have the right to express it. The fact that their opinion is right or wrong is their problem. The fact that you like it or not is your problem.
My cousin is gay. I knew it only by looking at how he behaved. For some time, I was afraid to say anything to him that would make him know I know. Now everyone in his family knows, They all said "I knew it". Do you find this offending?
I am stating my opinion based on what I see and what I hear from the character Ji Wan. Again Ji Wan does not behave nor speaks like she is in love with Sol. She seems jealous and doesn't want to share her best friend but that's not an exclusive sign of Love. In friendship also you don't want to share your best friend and you can be jealous of her being with other people male or female.
You can question your own sexuality but when you are in love with someone, you know you are in love. Sol knows she is in Love with Ji Wan this is why she looks pained and conflicted and tries to avoid her before she confessed. Ji Wan just looks like a kid who doesn't want to share her favorite toy. She doesn't look in love and trying to question or fight that love at all.
Maybe in the last ep she will do her coming out but so far, it is my opinion to say that she is doesn't look gay like Sol looks totally gay.
Thanks for your clarification. Yes she doesn't seem gay based on what I see and hear from her but I guess even this "seem" can be attacked by SJWs as it is their favorite activity.
Based on what I have seen, Ji Wan does not know about her own sexual orientation. Not like Sol who said she likes Ji Wan like "she loves" her. Ji Wan just looks like someone who is afraid to loose someone important to her. She does not look like someone in love at all.
does ep 9 end with a cliff hanger or some kind of suspense? I'm trying to decide whether to watch it now or wait…
It ends up with a surprising light on Jae Eon. I too was thinking I should wait and binge watch the last 3 eps but I failed. It is not a cliffhanger but it should be a turning point.
