Kwak Dong Yeon is the CEO of Babel Group so probably he is one of the big villains. I liked him as a villain in My strange hero. I am curious to see how he will portray this one. Waiting for the Vincenzo Cassano vs Jang Han Seo confrontation.

The scenes are too short and the landscapes/buildings views are too minimal. Probably they did not travel to Italy for that.

His swearing and ranting in Italian are the best! The english translation are sometimes very soft compared to the real meaning of the Italian words. lol.

First time seeing that actress Jun Yeo Bin. I am pleasantly surprised. She reminds me of a Stephanie Lee but one with fine acting skills. I like that bubbly eccentric desillusioned lawyer for big clients.

Ep 1 was fun with good action and some weird crazy characters. I guess this drama is not to be taken too seriously. I am wondering if they will keep it a comedy or push the black tone further with nice killings and corpses buried here and there. Anyway it is a good start.

Hope kissing scene don't create family feuds...

I watched 3 eps and paused it. I was intending to resume my viewing after it ended airing. I guess I won't now.

Violent or non violent rape is rape. Doing it to a person who is asleep or not in a state to agree is rape. The guy should be sent to jail but if we look at it from the Thai perspective, there is no chance the guy is indicted even if she calls the cop the next morning. InThailand they almost all get away with it or receive little punishment. The drama is also romanticizing rape and it should be denounced.

Seriously he did plenty of crimes. He used Wu Yuan as kid for bad deeds, he attempted to kill Huotu Xin. He drugged Yin Xiao to try to kill Huotu Xin. He used Evil Souls to turn poor women into what he calls monsters in order to create a God and achieve his goal of revenge and changing the emperor. His justification that he is only doing what the emperors Yuan did and he is trying to show that commoners can change emperors, that does not justify all the killings of innocents he did and caused. I don't even mention killing his master, the man who saved him from his drunk father who was going to kill him and took him in.

I don't like him, his haughty smirk and is ridicuclous sly laugh. I wish he dies an horrible death. lol.

Yin Zhuang was there when he threw Huotu Xin out of the ship in an attempt to kill him. She knows he used Evil souls to turn poor women into "monsters" hoping to create a God and he, for part, is responsible of their death. He killed the master of Nianguang Pavilion, his own master who saved his life, took him in, fed him, raised him and probably taught him.

If she decides to marry him, she must have her own reasons. Maybe she accepts that he likes her and he can protect her. It is her choice but I still think she is on the right side. I hope he won't get away with it in the end. He has to pay for all his bad deeds and the people he killed in order to achieve his goals that are not even great goals (Vengeance on Nianguang Pavilion, showing he can replace an Emperor, Saving Suchuan from a chaos he created ... ?).

We agree that it is not a spoiler since the drama does not have to follow history. Anyway, I did not know about him and his fate in history (like most people here who are not into the history of Korea). I was shocked to read your comment. I wish I did not read it. It is not a matter of spoiler. It is a matter of how you see the male main lead now.

I like her too. She and Pei Xing Jian are the the best characters. She entered the palace to be a concubine at a young age when she was innocent but she became smart and scheming. For now she is siding with the good guys but I always had the feeling that she has a darker side. Maybe because she also has plans for herself. She is the most complex character and I am looking forward to see her development in the last 15 eps.

Weishang Yan needs to go burn in hell for what he did to all these women. They are not the monsters. He is the monster and his excuse changes nothing to the nature of his crime.
