So just finished watching the Devil judge and people on Viki were saying vincenzo was same universe. Is it true?…
It's not the same universe, but the characters are morally grey in both shows, and there's a whole lot of questionable 'justice' being meted out, so in that sense Vincenzo can be compared to Devil Judge. Otherwise the stories are different.
The comments are truly scary, this show was SO GOOD.
If you love a chill dark comedy, with SIZZLING chemistry between the main leads, a smart and logical and sexy male lead, an understanding and mature and endlessly charming and sexy female lead, villains full of charisma and brutality, side characters worth their salt (although annoying at times), and a whole lot of stunning cinematography and music, you'll LOVE this show!
Also I have newfound love for Jeon Yeo Bin and Song Joong Ki !
She is a powerhouse of acting, what a confident woman, love every role she has been in. She was brilliant in Extraordinary You, and also Sky Castle, totally stole the show.
Everyone in this show acted impeccably, the story was interesting to a certain point, but tbh for me I spent the first 15 episodes bored out of my goddamn mind. The intentions of all the characters are well understood pretty early on, and from there it's nothing but a waiting game of how the story/secrets will be uncovered, but it's way too stretched out. There were problematic traits with all the characters, but only some of them had actual character development towards the end. Also this drama should be called 'How to make an innocent and naive, but arrogant and ambitious, girl feel like a murderer for 20 episodes and punish her for it'. Kang Ye Seo/Suh is a girl who has been brought up in a seemingly perfect environment and is well on her way to becoming a third generation doctor. Her dreams are supported by an overly opportunistic mother who has a validation complex of her own, and an absentee father. All KYS wants in life is to be a doctor but unluckily her mother hires a tutor from hell, and it's all downwards from there on. KYS is a typical smart and rich girl, falls for a boy but is devastated when she realises he likes another girl (who btw is the biggest bitch I have encountered in a while, and bad at acting it out too which just sucks) and KYS pours all her jealousy into her studies but still suffers endlessly, which just made me irritated lol The only other storyline I was interested in was the one involving the law professor/father who was obsessed with pyramids. Anyway, I can at least see why the show has a high rating, it's maybe good for a quick one time watch! Kim Hye Yoon and Kim Byung Chul stole the show acc to me.
I just LOVE this comment and I absolutely agree! Hong Cha Young has SO MUCH depth to her character, her personality…
OH absolutely, I instantly fell in love with both Hong Cha Young and Jeon Yeo Been from the first scene in Vincenzo, I have made my profile dedicated solely to her, and I am 100% part of her protection squad, Vincenzo/SJK is the creator and leader of it :) .
Otherwise the stories are different.
