Damn the reviews are scary, the show was brilliant. A perfect chill dark comedy, mixed with timelessly outstanding music, great acting, beautiful cinematography, and SIZZLING chemistry between the main couple ( even though romance isn't the main genre ). Also has the BEST FEMALE LEAD IN ALL OF KOREAN DRAMA EXISTENCE SO FAR. Going to be hard to move from a romance and a show like this.
I have been re-watching this drama since I saw the last episode about a week ago, because I REALLY CANNOT MOVE ON FROM THIS SHOW MAN YOU GOTTA UNDERSTAND I AM HOOKED.
Has Joong Ki actually spoken Italian in the drama or is it dubbed?
He actually spoke it, and he was fairly good! He mentioned in his interviews that he was sometimes more scared of his Italian language teacher than the director lol
Lee Dong Wook has totally lost it lol. Also Kim Yong Ji STOLE THE SHOW FOR ME. His relationship with Yu Ri and their whole loyal brother/sister dynamic is the true MVP of the show for me. I even liked Yong Ji's relationship with his brother, that bromance was adorable too.
With low rating of 1% there's no way there'll be a s2 unless the writers are on crack. 😂
Ahh yeah that seems fair. I loved almost everything in the show, but the chemistry of the characters and the characters themselves are SO good, that I can easily ignore the other few elements I didn't like that much, and I can say that it's an easy 10/10. The neo-noir vibe for me is so good in that show, just loved it.
I'm at the stage after Vincenzo where it's genuinely uncomfortable for me to be able to watch either Jeon Yeo Been or Song Joong Ki getting intimate with another actor, and this has never happened before with me EVER. BUT I'm still gonna watch this.
