WHAT A SHOW. I loved the satisfying ending.
Ju Ji Hoon, what a sweetheart, he was so amazing at portraying the sexiest ace attorney EVER at a prestigious law firm. His charming aura, his manly fashion, his calm and collected dialogue delivery, his steadfast acting, it all was so GORGEOUS to watch. He really truly was in love with the female lead, without ever stifling her, or trying to change her, he truly only wanted two things from her, an apology, and then a relationship, which I hated to watch (bc FL was kind of a bitch) but it was ALWAYS heart-fluttering instead of cringy. JJH has this way of making literally ANYTHING look good.
I was so hurt on his behalf after episode 1, because I really wanted to punish the despicable girl who broke his heart, THAT'S how good he was at showing how taken he was with the girl.

The FL used people and left them for dead, like a hyena, and that's the show! And she stays exactly the same all the way to the very end. In that sense, she was brilliant. She never swayed an inch no matter who cursed at her for her background, for her lack of education, for he lack of class, she just marched on. She really said 'Fuck me if you can' and walked away with victories in her arms. I loved that, truly I did.
BUT her actions never had ANY consequences, which I HATED, and also how every male was completely enamoured with her for no reason at all, which was just annoying to watch.

The background characters in the show had just the right amount of screen-time, they were so good, and were there exactly when they were needed, no more no less.
The story was paced well, and the villain got a good end, exactly what he deserved. All the featured cases in the show were interesting to watch and decipher, and the arc with JJH's father was really intriguing to watch.

Easy 10/10. Highly Recommended!

This drama changed my life. NO but really, I'm not even kidding. I've had real actual dreams about this show,…
Because I'm NOT ready to let this show go, here's a list of things I love about this show that I MISS SO DAMN MUCH alreadyyy:

The music, the cinematography, the music, the characters, the character arcs, the music, the cast, the acting, the background characters' chemistry with each other, the music, the FL, the ML, the INSANE chemistry of the FL with ML, all the baddies!! The stupidity of the villains was a little annoying but it was expected so I enjoyed that, as well as the zig-zag storyline, which I also expected and enjoyed. After I saw the whole first episode, I checked how long the show was and I was SO RELIEVED that it was 20 episodes long because I wanted to see the hilarity for as long as possible. I wanted to see HCY, her father, Vincenzo and Mr. Nam fight Babel together, I wanted the HCY and Vincenzo team take out the bad guys as a team of crazy lawyers, I wanted to see how a self-loathing ex-Mafia man could fall in love with a spirited lawyer (answer is: very slowly).

1. Hong Cha Young- Vincenzo's 'SWEETIE' (if you know the word, you know) MY QUEEN, MY BABY, MY ABSOLUTE GIRL-CRUSH AND SUCH A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN GOSH. Her character was so brazen, sassy, funny, dramatic, smart and sharp (she figured out a lot of major reveals easily on her own). SO beautiful, BOSS material, caring, and understanding. She was CONSISTENT in how she was throughout, and I LOVED her chemistry with literally every character in the show. She was SO GOOD with SJK, and I loved her tenacity, her will, and her sharp brain, and even sharper tongue. She was realistic too, because initially she didn't want to actually kill anyone in her revenge journey, but when she realises on her own that that's not possible, she CHANGED her perspective!! She used LOGIC and modern sense of morality to move forward with Vincenzo and create her story, instead of clinging on to the bullshit of 'forgiveness is the only way to make eternal peace etc'. She wanted to give as good as she got which I LOVED. And she never held Vincenzo at gun-point for being HIMSELF, and she never blamed him about his ex-Mafia past, and even when she was faced with many shocking betrayals, she never lost her trust in Vincenzo which was SO sexy to watch. There was a lot of backstory between her and her father, which took just a few sentences in the show which was nice story-telling. She was a protector, a fighter, and genuinely one of the sexiest characters I've seen till date. This show was my first Jeon Yeo Been show, and I AM IN LOVE WITH HER TOTALLY and UTTERLY.

2. Vincenzo- HCY's 'darling'!!! His little hidden smirks, his chemistry with the FL, his respect for the FL's father, his love for his mother, his love for Luca lol, his beautifully still character but still portraying an aura of danger, his whole character literally always staying one step behind HCY at all times but figuratively being one step ahead of everyone else, literally being a very willing and happy personal assistant/bodyguard/'YES-man' to HCY, his whole attitude of "Whatever my HCY wants, my HCY bloody GETS" was so amazing. He played the whipped-for-FL-yet-distant-ML character very well. His ability to make action scenes look so GOOD despite having a (imo) baby face is awesome, and he genuinely looked so scary in many actions scenes, specially in that one scene in that episode ( you know what I mean ) when he behaved like he was truly possessed, his rage was quiet and lethal and impossible to escape. A full bellied cat toying with the mouse indeed. He was also so stern with everyone, but with HCY he was goofy, silly, at times even cheesy, Also his ability to carry himself SO well in those suits WOW. He never ever ever EVER flinched a single time no matter what bloody punishment he was doling out, and half the time one of his hands was always in his pant pocket throughout those scenes, which was SO entertaining to watch. He stayed consistent throughout in his approach, even though he genuinely tries to make things go the way HCY wanted, let's just say my bloodlust was more than satisfied. I loved how he quietly disposed off 'bodies' that he created and then just went back and joked around like nothing happened! For him it truly was just business, He always held people's shoulders painfully hard as a way to threaten them/show dominance, all except for HCY who always got caressed softly. Also loved that he fulfils ALL his promises to HCY, and how also he said he never makes promises outside of business BUT he promised HCY TWO things outside of business (of handling things without killing, and of coming back). And how he had basically given HCY the power to veto on all his decisions, how he gave her his spare house key on the first night she stayed with him, and told her to stay with him till she 'felt safe' even though he was unwilling initially lol. Also his opinion of never interfering in other people's family drama did change somewhat when he advised HCY to make amends with her father, and also he helps out a character towards the end, so he eventually figured out that exceptions can be made for rules sometimes! His friendship with Mr. Jo, with HCYs father, with the Ant company guy, hell even with Mr. An was SO fun to watch. It was really heartwarming to see him becoming emotionally involved with the characters, and he even ended up in love despite holding the belief that murderers don't deserve love, it's because HCY taught him that he can be loved, which was just beautiful. He told HCY and Mr. Nam everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, they both were like an extension of him, which for me was so SEXY to watch because it's so refreshing to see a ML fully having faith in the intelligence, and trusting his closest partners and sharing information with them. This was my second SJK show, and the first one was DOTS which was okay-ish for me (couldn't stand the FL at all).

3. Jang Han Seo- THE CUTEST CHILD MY BABY BOI THE PUREST LITTLE SMOL BEAN AND THE MAN WHO DESERVES ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD. His pure aura, he was a good person and the underdog I (along with HCY) rooted for. He was a product of bullying and bad parenting and deserves to have all the love in the world!!! Phenomenal acting by Kwak Deong Yeon, he was absolutely brilliant in his role, and his smile is best thing ever. This is my second KDY show, the first one was IOTNBO. I am SO looking forward to seeing him in more roles!

4. TaecYeon- All I will say is, his way of saying 'SUNBAE' is the cutest thing EVER, and he was ADORABLE as the intern with a massive soft spot for his boss HCY, his vision for them being together was so damn cute, and he was great in the show. This is my second show of his, first one was Bring It On, Ghost which was really good!

5. I would put Mr. An, Mr. Cho/Jo, Ms. Choi, Mr. Han, Mr. Ant company guy, and the Italian Cafe owner, and maybe the rest of the entire cast on this spot, they were all brilliant and had great chemistry with each other tbh.

TLDR: I AM IN LOVE WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SHOW AND I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED IT.

I need something similar like now.. i need suggestions that are as close to this drama as possible ticking these…
Would highly recommend Lawless Lawyer, it was great acting, good story, good comedy, and definitely the main leads overcame a lot to win in the end (they're slightly overpowered too). Not too much romance, but it's definitely there.

Jeon Yeo Bin steals the show. It's really her dramaShes fun energetic and charming
Agee 100%, she's a scene stealer, her character was so amazing and lovable from the start, bright, sassy, fiery, and sharp. Not to mention she's heartbreakingly beautiful, and she had INSANE chemistry with literally everyone in the show, even a 1 minute scene is enough for me to ship her character with that character tbh. She was a breath of fresh air, just LOVED watching her on screen, IN LOVE.!

Months have passed since I've completed this but I still catch myself thinking about it, It isn't everyone's cup…
Agree 100%. It has really dark moments, and also weird but good comedy, and also a really slow burn romance, mixed with some classic betrayal. I LOVED it so much, and I definitely think it deserves to be given the 3 episode treatment!

Actually... i was blown away from Kwak Dong Yeon's acting - he really transported every moment excellently - how…
Right, he was so good! He was consistent till the end, from being manipulated, to breaking out of it, to taking control of his life. Brilliant portrayal by KDY.

This drama changed my life. NO but really, I'm not even kidding. I've had real actual dreams about this show, and I've seen each episode 2-3 times minimum.
It has such an entertaining villain, a really smart male lead, a badass beautiful sexy female lead (the best part of the show), amazing cast and background characters, and I just fell in love with the show. The subtle feminist themes are just *chefs kiss* so well placed, and so well executed. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS SHOW.

The ost, the female lead (I WORSHIP her, both the character and the actress), new found love for Song Joong Ki, the supporting cast was DAMN good, the OST was mind blowing, and I listened to the soundtrack on repeat even while doing my office work from home all day.
Needless to say, I am obsessed with the show. Yes, I AM.

The subtle flirting, and passionate kisses, the music, fashion, the characters, the cinematography, the pretty damn good Italian by Song Joong Ki, the fact that he and everyone else looks happy as hell in literally every second of every behind-the-scenes clip (and yes, I've seen them ALL, I can guarantee it) which is also evident in the chemistry that everyone has in the show, Jeon Yeo Bin's charm and beauty and talent and warmth and genuineness is now known to the world, the supporting cast is rightfully getting so much love, KWAK DEONG YEON, TAEC YON's amazing acting.

I fully expected the stupidity of the villains, and also the zig-zag storyline which I recognised from another show, so I enjoyed both those elements as well. The villains were all great actors, and it was so satisfying to see them all go down the path to hell. I wasn't watching the show to see the villains succeed, I was watching the show to see them fail, badly. And they did!

I could go on and on about the show, I've left essay-worthy comments on each episode on kissasian about my all favourite moments, and all I can say now is, I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW AND EVERYTHING RELATED TO IT.

First time in my life I am shipping two real actors, Song Joong Ki and Joen Yeo Been, to actually start dating in real life, THAT'S how good their chemistry was, I miss them so much. LOVED IT SO MUCH EASY 10/10.
