I think every single actor gave a great performance despite the lackluster storyline. Ju Ji Hoon was beautiful in his tight fitting suits, and the baddie was really handsome too lol
If someone can be so kind as to point me to where Jeon Yeo Bin was in this movie exactly, that'd be great! I didn't notice her role, don't know how I missed it. Thanks!!
I am in love with her, she was the most amazing in Vincenzo, had perfect chemistry with literally every character she interacts with, and she was so spunky and feisty and I just love that.
And that FACE and that VOICE and that CHARM and those SKILLS FUCK I AM IN LOVE
JU JI HOON what do I say about this man, he is a chameleon!! He was a criminal in this movie, and I have a hard time believing he's an actor, like he WAS the criminal! Just brilliant, he could've won awards for this role easily. He was psychotic, very alert and aware and extremely intelligent, but at the same time vulnerable (as vulnerable as a killer can be I guess). It was so much fun watching him on screen.
And Kim Yoon Seok was just as brilliant, he played the perfect earnest yet tired yet stubborn and persevering detective, he only wants to provide closure to people through his aid, and that one thought makes him see things through to the end, there's nothing flashy in the movie, just pure brilliance. Highly recommended.
What a movie! It was intriguing, engaging, mysterious, and it kept me waiting for the end eagerly! JJH was brilliant as always, and Hwang Jun Min was just splendid. Surprisingly sentimental ending. LOVED it, highly recommended.
This movie is like repeated punches to your gut, but you're still super into it.
Dark, gritty, spectacular acting by the cast. Highly recommended. JJH is just too good at literally every role he plays, and Jung Woo Sung was amazing here too, loved all their scenes together.
Ju Ji Hoon plays a vulnerable yet strong and persevering chaebol Min Woo, who is totally un-prepared to actually fall in love, but when he does realise it, he decides to go all the way in, and becomes the most caring, supportive, funny, cute, sexy, hot, and understanding husband in all of kdrama history.
He had amazing chemistry with the lead actress, and the way they (HE) looked in that one magical dancing scene, GOSH. That was one of the best dancing scenes ever, the transition, the music, it was spectacular. I loved the cute flirting and bickering of the lead couple too. LOVED IT.
I am not a fan of this actress. For that alone, I'll pass unfortunately. Sorry... By the way, have you heard about…
omg really, what a pairing it would be, JCW and SYJ! Btw what's the SYJ controversy, if you can tell me? I'm a big fan of her acting in various shows, that's why I'm curious.
Kinda hate that Ju Ji Hoon broke his streak of having the 'Main Role' tag for EVERY SINGLE THING he's ever been in, whether it's a movie or a drama because he has a 'Guest Role' in this one, but I will still watch this for him!
Wow, what a movie. How can Ju Ji Hoon convey SO many emotions with just ONE LOOK??? He is truly phenomenal.
AND HIS SEX SCENE WAS...JUST...I CAN'T DESCRIBE HOW HOT IT WAS. He is SO gorgeous, and I'm a certified SIMP for JJH.
That scene when JJH sees the girl for the first time, that one look, was swoon-worthy. In every single scene where he is supposed to be jealous when the attention of the Mad King is on the girl that JJH likes, those scenes are my favourite. Because you can tell exactly how much he's being affected. How he wishes that she would both succeed and fail at getting close to the King for her motives.
He conveys his jealousy, his possessiveness, his helplessness, rage, dread, and his hatred for the King and regime which allows this behaviour, ALL IN ONE LOOK.
