oh wow.... the negative comments on here is crazy. we've all watched kdramas even with bad writing but we've given it a chance even after 4 episodes but it seems like there is an already unnecessary hate train for this. i've have my others thoughts why that is but imma just keep my mouth shut and watch this.
Pretty much what would have transpired. About the 2nd child, I think Mokdan was not the 2nd child(maybe her parents…
yup, i agreed with this theory. if mokdan is not the second child, it would make sense why she has so much grudge and why everything went left and why present day event is happening. the shaman probably found out before she died in prison.
I'm confused. Why the female lead suddenly avoid the male lead after the emperor died? And why did she enter the…
if you watched carefully and even understood at the end of ep 18, the eunuch took her away aka from getting caught at the moment. which was also why at the end of the episode, she went to find the consort to explain that the food she cooked had no poison so she was basically advocating for herself.
also, again the FL can't be removed from the palace because the prince aka to be emperor already knows her identity as the girl who he was supposed to get married to be politics and his current consort's family played dirty which was why she had to grow up outside of the palace. they also legit talked about why she entered the palace in like episode 14 or so. again, the FL should have been the prince's consort aka future empress
the female lead's friend was not kicked out but rather now, she is basically a slave because people found out about her identity and where she grew up is not a good place. so she stayed but for her, staying the the palace and being treated like this, is better than where she came from.
honestly so sad that this isn't getting the rating it deserves cause it is honestly one of the best kdramas i've seen and i fell in love with Go Ah Sung from this drama
this was honestly a good ending. i cried but it was so worth it because we knew how it would end. if it had ended on ep 16, i would have not been happy because i actually found the ending of ep 16 much more sad that ep 17
Yep. I find her very sympathetic. There are no easy answers or choices where she's concerned. I think some might…
exactly!!! and San even knows the core of her being because he knew what her reactions and decisions would be before anyone else. he knew she wouldn't beg for his forgiveness and would rather lose out on something than lose the core of who she is. i read a comment where someone said "she should put aside her principle and values of been living freely alone and give a try to feel the happiness of love". my question to that is, is it even happiness if we lose our freedom or rather in some cases, perceived freedom? is it happiness if the cost of it, is having to give up our principles and values? and my genuine answer is no it is not. And i think that's why i understand her character so much no matter how flawed she is because i'd rather lose out on the happiness of love rather than having to compromise my principles and values to gain that happiness. i'd rather redefine what happiness means to me.
I think it's fine if you don't like the female characters in here. That's reality. I sometimes see myself in Yumi,…
i wish i can like you comment more than once. as flawed as Yumi is, i can understand her because some of us have been in her situation or/and know people in her situation
I half agree with your analysis. I think Yumi's initial reaction to. e.g. the marmalade, was OTT and neurotic,…
exactly!!!! the point is that Saeyi has ill intentions and it might just be Yumi's insecure that lets her see it. sometimes, our gut feelings which is produced from anxiety, insecurity or any other feeling is right. it's just that in this case, other feelings are at play when Yumi trys to express why Saeyi makes her uncomfortable
