I don't hate Jiangli's father as much as I should. So I didn't eagerly wait for any crazy torture punishment. But I think him living the rest of his life knowing his daughter died because of his neglect is possibly the worst form of punishment for him.
And I wish Ruoyao would have at least apologized to Jiangli once in the drama.
But overall I loved this drama even though I cried more times then I wanted to. Huge shout out to all the cast members for their hard work.
I'm ready for next month. But I'm also not ready. I love the thought of finally finishing the drama but I hate the thought of losing Fang Fengbei and then Xiang Liu. If being heartbroken once isn't enough, I'll be heartbroken twice 😭 I love Xiang Liu but Fengbei has a special place in my heart.
The emperor does say some annoying stuff once in a blue moon but overall, I really love him and Xiao Heng's relationship. They are really cute together. The emperor's got a childish cute smile and Xiao Heng always smiles like he's up to no good all the time haha.
