Sadly I had a feeling this was going to happen. By ep 29, we are now only getting pass taking down Ji Shuran. We still got King Cheng, Consort li, Wanning, Shen Yurong and clearing XFF's name to go. I smell snip, snip, snip to fit everything 😭

Definitely threw me off when they used the word eldest but I'm assuming that term is used because he's the first born son. I was like....Jiangli has an older brother? 🤣 And I'm pretty sure it's the boy Ji Shuran taught to say bad things about Jiangli in the beginning.

When Jiangli was speaking to her dad, I forreal thought she was going to reveal his daughter died. She was speaking every injustice the real Jiangli went through with so much emotions. He doesn't deserve forgiveness.

I just assumed she died from the context clues. 1. She wasn't moving when the guards came. 2. Her evil maid saying she hasn't put her stuff away. 3. The burning of her pic.
If she shows up next ep, guess I was wrong lol

I knew Tong was gonna die but I still cried. Gosh she was such a good person.
And not sure if Ji Shuran died but if she did, annoys me she got to die next to her lover. She didn't deserve that one bit.

Basically Ruo Yao finally grew a spine and told her mother off and cancelled the engagement with the Qi dude.
Jiangli went to visit the crazy Aunt and found out her daughter Yue was killed by Ji Shuran.
And Ji Shuran running wild like usual. This time she's getting her ex to come do an exorcism at her house after she drugged Ruo Yao.

Darn, 27 was definitely a filler ep to build up for ep 28.

I'm ready to see Jiangli kick Ji Shuran's ass.

I don't like him abandoning Jiangli but I am thankful he's not as bad as the father in Princess Weiyoung.

I didn't realize the difference in age until I started seeing them in the comments. Yes, she does look older than him but they still look amazing together and have hot chemistry.

And omg all these schemes against my girl Jiangli. Let my girl breath. Can she and Duke Su fall off a cliff and have 2 eps of peace and flirting please 🤣

I didn't care for the first ep but I'm a sucker for good revenge dramas. Power through the beginning. It gets better.
