I take back what I said, ep 30 was not my ending. I'm choosing 29 as my end.
30 makes sense but it's too short and too rushed. I would have liked for some interaction between HQ and XW in reality. And extra ep or 2 of how she copes with reality is needed.
I don't love the ending but I don't hate it either. So I guess it'll do.
And to end this, my favorite male character was Hua Rong Zhou. Yes, even though he is ...(will not spoil end lol), the way he dedicated himself to her. He loved and cherished her and never betrayed her and that's what she's always wanted.
It's not finished yet but regardless of the end, I will admit this is one of the better dramas I've seen. I can appreciate the FL's strong and cautious personality. Yes, she does annoy me at times but overall, I loved her character. So glad she wasn't crying and letting people walk all over her like so many other dramas I've seen.
Am I the only one who likes the ex? 🤣🤣🤣 He tried to make things work. He respected her and wanted to spend more time with her. I can't blame him for the way he treated her when he found out but I mean....his treatment wasn't even that harsh.
Yes, he's fickle but I get him. You could see he liked HQ but was confused with the whole situation.
You know what's crazy? Everyone is always talking about justice and doing the right thing but everyone has a secret to hide and people they turn a blind eye to in this drama.
And I am disappointed with ZXW in the last ep. His love is toxic. I hope he has a good redemption arc because right now he's bottom of my list.
Other than that, I love the story and some side characters. Love everything about HQ except when she's talking about righteousness. Just ironic when she's trying to protect her family from their wrong doings.

The no backbone pushover parents, evil scheming relatives, money grubbing bias grandma and annoying ass grandpa has my blood boiling. I have never hated so many people in a drama before. 100% turnoff for me.
