I'm sad but honestly their relationship was always a dead end to start with imo. They were both too prideful and never said what they really meant until it was too late.
And Ryang Eum that scum nailed the coffin with his lie that Jang Hyun died.
And as much as I wanted them to elope, so glad Gil Chae stayed for everyone she would have left behind.
I really do wish Jang Hyun would fall for the mysterious woman in season 2 and both leads moved on with their lives.
Just watched teasers up to 34. Sadly I think this will be a drama I'm dropping. Imo why do all good dramas always end up with palace schemes/throne fights. Why can't we just get dramas full of romance and cases to solve.
I actually liked this drama up to the princess mastermind. I'm hoping Jing Hong stays true to his original intentions and doesn't turn bad like Roujia.
I was expecting it but was not prepared for the whole reveal. I liked Princess Roujia too 😠I don’t care that she went after the empress dowager. Hated her. But her sacrificing so many lives and going after Lord Ding too. That crosses the line.
Ep 8 was just as captivating as the last. The writing and the actors/actresses being able to deliver their lines with 110% perfection really made this drama.
I'm in love with the plot, the romance and the angst. Gil Chae must have regretted not telling him to stay. But the angst and the realization of her sadness made this episode so beautiful. Girl you are in love haha.
At some point, enough is enough. I'm so irritated that Gil Chae can't get over Yeon Jun. He's already going to marry your friend. That already is a clear sign to cut off all romantic feelings for him.
I'm rewatching and I got to say, I love Feng Bei just .000001% more than Xiang Liu haha. The way he flirts with his eyes and that mischievous smirk. I could watch the same scene of Feng Bei everyday.
Ep 7 was both sad and sweet. The consequences of war is always heartbreaking and they did a wonderful job of portraying that when Gil Chae was reminiscing the good old days.
And Jang Hyun's teasing yet charming actions toward Gil Chae has always been sweet. I wish she would let go of her love for Yeon Jun. She's clearly not in love anymore but it's hard to realize you don't love someone anymore after so long. Hopefully the director ends this plot soon. I'm already over it.
And Yeon Jun leaves a sour taste in my mouth. He definitely shouldn't be marrying another woman if he has feelings for another woman. I feel for Eun Ae. She's the safe choice.
Regardless, Nam Goongmin is always a joy to watch.
try hiding your love for your beloved...no matter how much good you're doing for your beloved, even die -if your…
Imo he couldn't love her because of the loyalty he had to the general that saved him and his army. He's definitely one of those guys who sticks by his promises. If only Xiao Yao had saved him then, I think he would have proclaimed his love to her. Except in this life, he knows he can't give everything up for her and b/c CX is his enemy. It puts XY in a tough spot.
I'm watching the legend of zhouhua and it got me thinking, it's always the mean cold hearted aloof males that have the warmest hearts haha. That's right, I'm talking about you Xiang Liu haha. Hiding their warm heart behind their cold exterior.
I think she's playing the fool in front of Shaungguan.
And lastly, I feel bad for Jin Fan in ep 10. How disappointed he must have been to be demoted to a green jade after his hard work to be red.
And Ryang Eum that scum nailed the coffin with his lie that Jang Hyun died.

Yes, she thought he was dead but still. Gosh I'm so mad 🤣

And omg I'm thinking Princess Ruojia and Jing Hong are going to be the end villians. Hopefully not. I liked them.
Someone who's read the novel, spoil it 🥺

Can't wait for the next ep. Go get your girl Lord Ding!
Definitely Tan Jianci's year. Hoping everyone makes it big soon.
And I wish Zhimo and Juli had more scenes. They are literally the cutest side characters.
