I had to read the novel. All I have to say is, I am so hurt that Xiao Yao misunderstood him after his death. No girl! Everything was not a transaction to him, he wholeheartedly loved you. His suffering and sacrifices is something she'll never know and I just want to hug Xiang Liu.

In this lifetime, his life was for others. In the next, I hope he lives for himself.

Just my opinion but Jing is Xiao Yao's true love and Xiang Liu is her soulmate. There were many times in the drama where I felt Xiang Liu could have been with Xiao Yao but due to the circumstances and his other promises, he chose not to. I call it, right person wrong timing.

I'm trying to get over this drama but my Facebook newsfeed is full of this drama, esp Xiang Liu. The universe doesn't want my heart to heal haha.

But seriously the last time I was this dedicated to a male lead who I fully wanted to end up with the female lead was Jung Hwan in Reply 1988. I'll never get over it.

And I can't get over this pair. I love their deep conversations, their playfulness and the care for eachother. And the way Tan Jianci stares into your soul. He's too charismatic. Take my soul 🤣
