So basically she was brought to Qi Min as a concubine cause he was sick since childhood and his people wanted to get an heir out of him before he died and went more crazy ; Qi Min wanted to die, Qianqian saved him from drowning himself, he felt interested in life for the first time , they made a baby ( unwillingly) ,she ran away , he's been looking for her for the past 6-7 years ,but the thing is he doesn't want a child before he secures his position, she doesn't want him at all -first because she just wants to live a peaceful life with her son and also in the novel ,she is a transmigator ,the only one the story amd doesn't really reveal that ever .

I just remembered Romance on the Farm - I love how different she feels , even if some of her characters ciuld have been similar, she gives each of them something different and it's so engaging to watch her play 🥰

Absolutely, like the storytelling has some changes but the core plotline, motives ,characters have not - they shine so well 🥰🥰🥰

I adored her in New Life Begins, so adorable, but she literally had in love in Moonlight Reunion-didn't expect her deliver the FL's character so well , and I knew I was gonna love her since the first announcement and then with the stills 🥰🥰🥰 And ZLH has given YZ/XZ such a sweet yet sharp gentleness 🥰🥰🥰 I am so happy with the couple

I've been watching the originals ( cause the sound work is good and I don't care abou the dubbing thing - YZ sound fine ,the subs and dubs and after ep 11 I am gonna watch it all again - WHO'S WITH ME ,JADEITes...also we need to come up with a fandom name ...I also started reading the novel again..highly recommend 👌

I know what you mean 🤣🤣 the amount of time I gasped , giggling, cackled ,giggled with my feet tearing at my poor blanket, covered my mouth and my eyes and my face ,giggled and then replayed their scenes on loop ...yeah ,there's no way I could wait untill more episodes were out - Ivbeen waiting for years ,and tso far the whole crew delivered 🤌🤌🤌

Basically, Qi Min was very sick ,Qianqian was brought to Qi Min as a concubine so his supporters would have a heir ; She saved him once when he tried drown himself, but afterwards they were basically drugged and with no consent whatsoever, made a baby ; She ran away ,he still wants her but he doesn't want the baby because the boy could be a threat to his rule as he is not an ideal candidate with his weakness ( in the novel ,he was badly burned in order to escape death , spent years with harrowing skin draft surgeries and medicines, couldn't well didn't trust anyone because he knew they only protected him untill he would leave an heir to his family) ,Qi Min had a horrible childhood and he is sick in both body and mind ,Qianqian had no wish to ever entangle herself in this whole situation

I watched ep 11 and rewatched and replayed like at least 10 times , cause we whole-heartedly appreciate all the spicy sweetness of the tangerine candied heart bursting scenes 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

In the novel, he straight up breaks down, and well tells her he wants to be with her and after her rejection ,he leaves and she thinks he got accidentally drafted for army ;( it's after new year )
I think in the drama ,he already kinda kniws he's falling for her fast and deep ,cause he admitted his feelings to Gongsun Yan when they were talking at night by the lake

I know ,actually besides the obvious hilarious misunderstanding, I loved how GSY and Ninger kinda bonded. And that scene when she tells him that how her big sister always comforts her and lets her cry ,but she herself never cries or complains, only with her big brother in law does she ever lets herself cry omg I love the adaptation so far but the novel is just so dear to me 🥰🥰🥰

I literally dragged myself back here to lament the loss of Gongsun Yan literally thinking his spies were tripping( iykyk) ⛰️🪨🚪🧸🏕 🤣🤣🤣
