And the perspective change they did at the end ,with him all slick in black as just a minute before she literally offered her heart on a platter and he denied her , drew a clear line in way ;
He loves her,but loves the "her " she forced herself to be in a way.. I don't even know how to describe this ,anyone else thinks this way ? ..also , I want to see drama first before I dive in the novel.

Just watched ep 6 , like when she saw the measurement lines and remembered, she wasn't crying yet ,but I teared up and then when shen min marked her height and she tried to not cry ,I cried 😭 Remembered my own childhood, how we would mark our height my parents ,me and my brother ,but we never got to adulthood

Just rewatched New Life Begins and Romance on the Farm after the Moonlight Reunion AND rewatched My Journey To You and Kunning Palace - s i m u l t a n e o u s l y ( don't ask me how ) cause I'm obsessed with TXW and ZLH but I'm too lazy to just edit them for Zhu Yu... 2026 feels so far away ( even though I'm ready to instal the Christmas tree and smack the lights all 9ver my stuff the minute clock strikes October) 💘
So ,after taking a moment ... and literally year and a half , here's my point: At the last scene of the game ,as they sit and talk , Shen Yi says that he has to go , and so does she. And they said, let's live our lives together. I'm just bummed they didn't give his real life haircut and only showed his back 🤣 But as a side note,from the first ep intro and last ep outro/special, I would love to see their characters and situations, cause she has a lot to talk with her family,also want to know more about her. And I wonder ,if Shen Yi shared his real problems with her or was it mostly game plot driven.... First I really need to read the novel though
The novel starts right around the new year eve and is supposed to have a lot of snow scenes , I really really hope they make it a Christmas gift🎆❄️✨️❄️🎁
A hostage prince and a lowly courtesan ,engaged in battle of witts in a enemy land - one of the well written enemies-to-lovers novels - and they are literally enemies so I really hope the adaptation won't diminish the constant tension between the main couple. I just binge read the novel and it was simply awesome, maybe not everyone's ideal ,but I love the FL - besides the obvious badassery , I could feel the genuinely heartbreaking trauma and the character growth of the main leads were so wholesome and satisfying, had me giggling amd screeching 😁😁🥰🥰💖💖
