First Assessment: A Winner
A skillfully blended mix of the supernatural, police procedural, and legal. The whole taken together these first two episodes taps into a solid emotional core that goes far in ensuring a hit. There's a hint of The Missing.
I found the first episode a bit awkward as the story elements got their set up, but by the second installment the series hit its stride. I'm looking forward to the future episodes.
ESOM has a solid role here and I'm eagerly looking forward to coming reveals and twists. Look forward to the male lead meeting his father's ghost towards the end.
