I almost abandoned this one after the first episode but oh boy I'm so glad I didn't! This is a gem and I enjoyed (almost) every part of it. Yoko's English is... well, many have already talked about it XD You get used to it and it suits the comedy aspect of this drama very well. I wish this would be longer or multiple seasons, I would LOVE to see more of all of them at Magokoro hospital!
Hmm isn't that shopping street in episode 1 the same street in Elpis? The one with all the shops closed... Or am I imagining things? (I finished watching Elpis just the other day and that's why I noticed... But of course I may be wrong lol)
OMG this was a huge disapointment. If I'm not mistaken Inagaki Goro is a wine lover and I thought this role was perfect for him, but nope. The comedy doesn't work, the characters are too caricatured and very annoying (Kanno Miho's is insufferable), and I couldn't care less about the future of the restaurant. As much of a SMAP fan as I am, unfortunately this is one of the worst dramas I've ever watched :(
Loved it. I needed something like this, with a quite simple plot and tons of good action and visuals. I knew nothing about the manga and the anime, so I didn't know what to expect, and I found it great. I guess if you come from either the manga or the anime you will be disapointed: it's just 5 eps, so many side stories and character development will be missing. But I think this show is intended for new times and younger/newer audiences. I totally enjoyed watching this one, and btw Inagaki Goro <3 100% recommended.
I just finished watching this one and just I love your review. It's so in point with everything, including the slaps, the bad wigs and the ugly sweater hahaha Great summary!
The first episode was really good! I didn't read anything about it before watching it. I just saw Ayase Haruka…
The same happened to me! I thought it was going to be just _another_ police dorama (interesting because of the main female character and the glass ceiling topic) and then bam! It was like: "oooh so that's what everything's about!". Looking forward to the rest of the episodes!
