🤣🤣🤣 I would love if he did the calligraphy pen move again - this time less murdery, and more risqué.
lovely idea! 😂😂. I totally agree about him too. Honestly, I think the only reason Ning didn't get into the kiss is she was too busy trying to trying to get some oxygen into her lungs lol. Man was a beast.
They are such an interesting couple. Like both of them defy expectation.
The moment Ning had with her husband of the past life was actually kind of cute. She didn't love him, but I guess at some point did come to care for him. And she was faithful. What an odd situation to end up in. Her sister not being able to be his lawful wife. Ning having been the man's lawful wife.
No wonder she wanted to sit outside almost the entire time. That's a lot of feelings.
Daaaaang. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did I just see...
That for sure wasn't Xie Wei looking upset with Jiang Senior daring to interrupt a forehead kiss between Xie Wei and said senior's unconscious daughter? 🤣
Not Jiang Senior calling his daughter a devil, but actually meaning those words for Xie Wei.
Not Xie refusing to stand down. At.Every.Possible.Moment.
am I the only one that thought Xie Wei was legit mad at Ning these past few episodes? I was like, now why he acting like he has a bee in his bonnet? 😂 I think what happened is - He commanded her to continue lessons and I guess she didn't go. First there was the situation with Shu and then the Princess' forced marriage. And I guess Xie Wei got a bit sad and murdery as he does.
What to say about the recent episodes - I am reeling. That scene where Xie Wei comforted Ning, my word. He all but said "how about me?", but in the most romantic way. Reminded me of when Ning told Xie Wei she trusts him. Their love story has been developing for quite some time and when the time comes, it won't be a case of how fast she falls for him, but of how she comes to realize what he has slowly come to mean to her.
She's an insightful gal, I bet she sensed his interest way back when he called her over to his place and gave her walnut cakes while she practiced the qin. Her keeping mum on where the cakes came from when questioned by a friend shows that she knew on some level, that their relationship wasn't only student/teacher.
Also, I am grateful she's had Yan Lin and Zhang Ze because their presence made Xie Wei act. He gets so jealous that he can't help himself, particularly when it comes to Zhang Ze. With Zhang Zhe finally "gone", Xie Wei hugs her, and then winter just passes 😂. It's spring before he contrives another reason to bring her back to his place, and that too only when he runs into her by chance.
Which brings me to this, it's time for him to take initiative and I am sure he will. I'm so excited to see it all play out.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Zhang Zhe isn't exactly what he seems. The way he handled a situation in a recent episode made me go "hmmmm". There will have to be a switch for Ning to turn her affections from one man to another, so I wonder what it will be to make the shoe drop.
I don't mean that Zhang Zhe is bad in any way, just that maybe something that he is hiding could cause battle lines to be drawn. Just like Xie Wei's secrets have significance.
I love slow burn when done right and man oh man, has this been done right. Watching these two (XW and Ning) circle around each other like a couple of wary wolves is priceless. I'm surprised I'm not feeling the time at all, instead it feels right. This slow movement to the inevitable.
The subtext is so strong, that most of their interactions seem more romantic to me than any other overtly romantic one with hand holding. Buuut can I take a moment to appreciate Ning crowding ZZ on that bench in the shop while he was repairing that jade vase? He was like "oh my". Our girl is out here making moves. She ain't shy.
These two have decent chemistry so far
I agree, I’ve now seen it all lol
They are such an interesting couple. Like both of them defy expectation.
What was with the kind goodbye to the parents followed by the secret carriage transfer - subtext is strooooong 😂😂
No wonder she wanted to sit outside almost the entire time. That's a lot of feelings.
what in the world with these two.
Xie Wei promising to get revenge for Ning - that moment needed a fire extinguisher. Just sayin'

I can't with this episode 🤣🤣🤣🤣
