There were so many characters in this drama, and I couldnβt give each one my full attention, yet some still left their mark. Bai Shu (Xue Xianzi) gave me such a warm impression, his charm, a gentle light amid the storyβs darker moments. It was comforting, even heartwarming, to see him at the very end, together with our sweet new friend, the little white fox. π₯°π₯° It left me with the impression that only Xue Xianzi, along with Tang Li Ci, truly understood the weight of what had happened. Β Β One of the valuable lessons Tang Li Ci imparted in me: do not harbor hatred. People act from selfishness, from pain, from forces beyond their control. Good people can make bad choices, and those choices are often shaped by fear, confusion, or sorrow. It is easy to cling to anger, but the truth is that every soul deserves another chance. Whether they choose redemption lies beyond us, it is their journey to take. Forgiveness, however, is ours; it is the balm that grants our own hearts peace.Β Β
My admiration is fully for Luo Yunxi. He can carry a drama entirely on his own, even through the most ridiculous plots. Unless the female lead is written with depth matching Tushan Jing from Lost You Forever, she will not win my heart. Iβm drawn to couples who lift each other up through honesty, trust, loyalty, and understanding, a bond so deep that words almost feel unnecessary. Couples like Ren Ru Yi (Lui Shi Shi) and Ning Yuan Zhou (Liu Yu Ning) from A Journey to Love, or Miao Miao (Esther Yu) and Ziqi (Ding Yu Xi) from Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, make the heart ache with how perfectly they connect. I can only hope to see Luo Yunxi in a role like this one day, sharing that same kind of beautiful, unspoken understanding with his partner on screen.
