Right??? No filler. Inhyuk + Taesung + Sunny the car LOVE The scenes with Im Sol's brother and friend felt important to the overall fate storyline, and I was cracking up when Sun Jae was fanning her at the table. THE BEST! And the flirting with the cheesy pick up lines. . . I mean, come on! SO GOOD And the double confession. UGH MY HEART ( ♥ ͜ʖ ♥)
Also, did anyone else notice she already has on the locket in this episode? Which mean the scenes at the park and him giving her the locket next week are flashbacks.
I guess these are unpopular opinions...? But -- 1) I love and understand Im Sol and her actions / choices make total sense to me 2) Nothing about this episode felt like filler at all and I treasured every moment. 3) The killer thing / flashbacks changing fate stuff is a wait and see for me; I feel like it'll make so much more sense next week (after episode 13) 4) I loved this episode SO MUCH!!! And I'm so excited for the angst to come. :-D
I have a theory that the 5 ECLIPSE songs released describe the show (a few episodes at a time, in order)
Sudden Shower = Episodes 1-4 (All about their set up and how they first met, lots of sudden showers in these episodes and use of umbrella, wishing it wouldn't be a short rain shower, etc.)
Run Run = Episodes 5-8 (Them "following their hearts," Im Sol running around trying to save Sun Jae, Sun Jae following his heart and confessing officially, her running from him because she doesn't want to hurt him, trying to run from the bad guy, trying to save herself, then in the present starting over from "the beginning", "ignite the passion you've been holding back")
You & I = Episodes 9-11 or 12 ("Come to me wherever you are", "Even if I'm exhausted and have no strength", "You became my miracle", these episodes are about them finally being honest and on the same page, "All time, all day with you.")
---POTENTIAL SHOW SPOILERS FOR THE LAST TWO SONGS---
No Fate = Episodes 12 - 13 or 14 ("Can you hear me? Talk to me. Where you a million miles away. Follow the light in your heart, I fell into the arms of fate." then "Believe me, don't worry, because ***I will go around and meet you***" "I got lost in an unfamiliar place," "Like a new dream, like a new sun rising") So... I'm guessing based on this song episodes 12-13 or 14 are very sad and either Sun Jae or Im Sol don't remember each other / their past and are feeling very alone. Also, there is no fate, all that Im Sol thought she knew (about the present/future) is no longer true.
And then, finally.... I'll Be There = Episodes 15 - 16 ("I'm so lonely." "Since the Day you left" "I can't forget you, I'm so alone" "I'll never see you again" **Then the music changes** --> "I'll be there!" "You're the only one for me!" "I'll be there" "After so many days, I'll be there, and I'll wait for you.") Again, guessing that one of them has completely forgotten the other and Im Sol / or / Sun Jae are so sad. But then, suddenly, Im Sol / or / Sun Jae finally remembers and they meet again. HEA. :-)

How many times has Sun Jae saved her life? (1) Original/first timeline, after she was hit by the taxi (but he blamed himself because he didn't wake her up on the bus) (2) Original/first timeline, when he called her from the radio show --she travels back-- (3) Second timeline, when she argued with the homeless guy and fell off the bridge --she goes forward-- --she travels back-- (4) Third timeline, before the taxi hit her (right before she traveled to the present again) --she goes forward-- (5) Third timeline again, when the taxi driver kidnapped her in college (again)-- off screen --she travels back-- (6) Fourth timeline, when she fell off the statue (7) Fourth timeline, when she was running from the truck and Sun Jae showed up instead of flying to the US

I LOVE THIS QUESTION! I can't wait to read all the responses. For me:
SUN JAE: End of episode 4 where they flashback to Sun Jae's POV at the radio station, and he asks Sol (over the phone) if she knows who he is and she says no. And then he stares for a second, says her name heartbrokenly in his head, and looks down like the saddest puppy. Even though we got to see some of his POV at the end of Episode 2, this short scene captured everything about the depth of his feelings for Im Sol, that he was still trying to reach out to her, that he never (not once) forgot about her. It felt so foundational to both his character and the entire show and made everything that comes later (his actions) believable and consistent. He keeps hurting himself but he can't help himself with Im Sol, and that's what I love about him the most.
IM SOL: When they're at his apartment in Episode 8 and she keeps delaying her departure. That whole series of events (asking for a tour, waxing poetic about the painting, wanting to eat, pretending to be asleep, etc.) Even though she knew she looked like a fool, she didn't care. She is such a fool for him. And that's what I love about her the most.

There is so much story left to tell and I trust this writer (and director). I CAN'T WAIT!!
For me:
