As the show progressed, it went from a solid 10/10 to a 6/10, so I averaged to 8/10. Around episode 24, it started going downhill. I held out hope and finished it, but each episode after 24 was worse than the one before it. My recommendation is to end at episode 24, sadly. :-\

Stopped at episode 12
It started out pretty good! But around episode 10 it went off the rails into a field of boring and repetitive. This is the second drama I've watched with Yang Yang as the male lead (the other one was You Are My Glory) and they have both been quite bad. I feel sad, because I really want to like his dramas, but I haven't so far.
If anyone has a favorite Yang Yang drama, please send a recommendation my way!!

You have to power-through the middle, but IT'S SO WORTH IT!!
I understand the set up, and that didn't bother me. Though there were a few times during the high school scenes I wanted to shake the FML and tell her to wake up. That said, the lead actress did an outstanding job of somehow making the main character cute rather than a doormat. But then later, when they're in college, I legit wanted to stop watching because I was so irritated with how the main male character treated the main female character. The only reason I kept watching was to see if she FINALLY ended up with the second male lead.
BUT THEN!!!! OMG! The ending. THE ENDING!!! THE ENDING!!! The ending makes everything worth all the pain and struggle. I've re-watched the last several episodes a few times. Ahh!! It went from a 6.5 to a 9.5 because of the ending. Loved. It.

Tugs at the heartstrings
The basic premise is a misunderstanding, which-- I know, I know-- everyone seems to be tired of "these kinds of stories." But the acting in this (especially the ML) was SOOOO well done. This is a perfect example of a tired premise done perfectly, proving that nothing is ever really old/boring if it's done right. The FML took me some getting used to, but I warmed up to her once I understood her social anxiety better. Poor kid. Anyway, this was ADORABLE and so good and gave me lots of butterflies. Loved it.
Shoutout to her best friend and the positive representation of female relationships.

My first KDrama and it's still one of the best
Business Proposal was the first Kdrama I watched and I'm really glad it was my first. It set the tone and my expectations for all dramas moving forward.Things I loved:
The chemistry between the ML and FL
The script / dialogue
The humor (I laughed out loud often)
The direction
The second romance story
Things I didn't love:
The mother character was over the top and got on my nerves; I ended up fast-forwarding many of the scenes she was in
The kisses between ML and FL didn't feel realistic EXCEPT for in one scene (you'll know it when you see it). Otherwise, they lacked passion / felt very, very neutered. But ultimately (now, all these months and Kdramas later) I'm glad I saw Business Proposal first and my (low) expectations were set for kisses / physical affection in Kdramas. It's been a nice surprise whenever a Kdrama has a realistic / passionate kiss scene because I always expect them to be neutered and lackluster.
On that note, if you're looking for Kdramas with realistic romance (i.e. passionate kisses) here's my list so far:
The Red Sleeve (or any romance with Lee Se Young, she's incredible; also, this romance is SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD)
Healer (or any romance with Ji Chang Wook)
Goblin (or any romance with Gong Yoo, esp Coffee Prince)
What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (or almost any romance with either Park Min Young OR Park Seo Joon)
Doona
Do You Like Brahams?
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Alchemy of Souls Part 2

Perfection
My favorite Kdrama ever. I'll never get over it and I'll probably rewatch (the scenes between the ML and FL) several times a year.Full disclosure: I watch Kdramas for the romance, and the romance here is TOP NOTCH. The background story for this one is fine. It makes sense and as an action plot device is pretty good. Most of the time, the background story helped add tension to the romance, so I only fast-forwarded through the action plot scenes during the last 4 episodes when I finally got tired of them and felt like they weren't adding to the romance. (Usually, I'm fast-forwarding through the non-romance scenes starting with episode 3).

The chemistry between the leads was off the charts compensating for other flaws in the series
This is a true romance, which is surprisingly difficult to find. Many dramas labeled as romances are really "slice of life" or "friendship with romantic undertones" stories. But this is a legit romance, with pining and yearning; affectionate, deep friendship; and mutual trust and support between the two leads.I decided to give this drama 8.5 stars because on a 10-point scale, the chemistry and scenes between the ML and FL was a 100. That's right, out of a possible 10, their chemistry/story/scenes/dialogue/direction was 100. LOL! Plus, I loved the classical music element. Thus, even though the story wasn't perfect, the ML and FL were so beyond perfect that their believable scenes more than made up for the drama's other failings.
Here's the thing: if you want butterflies, this show is going to give you ALL THE BUTTERFLIES. But you will have to FastForward through filler and weird / unnecessary scenes to get to the butterfly scenes.
If this had been 2 episodes shorter and the side stories with his / her friends had been reduced, it would've been perfect.

Not for me
Background plot - 5%Romance - 75%
Misc comedy - 20%
Background plot - Not sure there was one
Romantic chemistry - Tepid at best
Misc comedy - Fine
Production value - Pretty good
I stopped at episode 6. I asked in the comments if the chemistry improves and folks said it stayed the same throughout, and thus I dropped the drama. I like these actors just fine, but-- personally-- didn't feel any heat or chemistry between them.
Also, I'm not sure there was a story. . . at least, there was no real story by the end of episode 6. It was repetitive scenes for 6 episodes with no progression; I stopped both episodes 5 and 6 to make sure I wasn't accidentally watching an episode I'd already finished.
I think perhaps I'm the problem...? People in the comments seemed to really enjoy this one and see / feel lots of chemistry between the leads. I did try, though, and gave it a 6 because it isn't terrible, it just didn't keep my interest.
Anyway, this one ended up not being for me.

Not for me, but I can see why some people like it.
==Breakdown==Background plot - 75%

Misc comedy - 5%
Background plot - If you like crime dramas, it's probably pretty good
Romantic chemistry - Fine sometimes, nonexistent other times.
Misc comedy - Rare, but fine
Production value - Pretty good
This drama is for: Anyone who likes crime dramas with a light sprinkling of romance.
I'm blaming myself for this one. I really like both of the lead actors in this drama, so I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried to watch a Crime/Mystery heavy drama. I shouldn't have. This is a plot heavy drama and I watch CDramas for romance. As stated, I really adore the two leads here, but didn't feel much chemistry between them. Thus, the romance wasn't enough for me to suffer through the genre.
I'm the problem and won't venture into this genre again. It gets a 7.5 because I can see it's probably good for people who like this kind of story, but if I was rating it based on my enjoyment it would've received a 2 star rating.

The story is nonsensical, but the leads' chemistry makes up for it
The problem here is that this is a super low budget drama, and therefore the plot is rushed and weird. However, the leads' chemistry is so good that it oddly makes up for the bare bones production and story. It's like an AI wrote a script with the primary objective being to put the leads in as many tropey, contrived situations as possible. And then the actors were so good and had so much chemistry, it made the astonishingly bad script almost passable. If you ignore the story and production values, it's watchable. I hope the ML and FL actors get bigger (better) dramas because of this one.
