And thats point its quite obvious to everyone including her that hes in love with her but she still chooses to date the writer (her choice of course) but the ML just accepts it and remains there like a simp not really my cup of tea. I kniw its not the main plot but that would turn me off lol

yeah seemingly she picks some other guy over ML but he turns out to be a liar and already married so it doesn't last but she still chooses him over ML
