few people in comments ranging about one of the fls cheating but no one would bait an eye it she was a man bc…
what a f uck ing idiotic comment. Anyone who watches Kdramas know its the opposite male cheaters are jerks and villians. Female cheaters are "finding their true self etc".

"keep crying" = middle school loser speak.

cheating is a unfortunately a harsh part of life and it’s not even central to the main plot. Just a side plot…
yeah yeah more deflection and deliberately missing the point. Whatever

Deflection from your core point that you can separate her personal life from her professional life as if never the twain shall meet, when she is completely unable to do that and didnt do that. Also the going to the house of her ex at night when she has that history was already cheating. The point is she deliberately chose to walk that line and considering she chose to stag after the kiss very much means it was deliberate. Regarding Rape vs cheating thats true but that doesnt mean her actions wont be devastating for her husband it doesnt mean its not disgusting horrible thing to do less horrible than rape but still horrible. You cant take her behaviour and be like look it happens always will always has its just people so dont worry about it. The point is so has rape paedophilia all that horrible stuff but we dont excuse that obviously or disregard it as inevitable (or maybe we do loom at Epstien cesspit)Anyway Cheating has victims too who don't co sent or have a choice and often carry the consequences for life. And IMO to portray her character that way is a huge unneccessary negative to the story and just immediately lessens the positive female centric plot potential and impact. It is hugely disappointing and gratuitous and like it or not the typical trope of minimising justifying and sympathising with women who cheat in dramas vs men has already begun.

Nice deflection. It's not about black and white its not about grey. She went to his house under the guise of work at night she could have left it any of the points you mentioned. You make it sound like an impromptu date turned one night stand. She knew she was ovulating she knew her husband was waiting they were a married couple trying for a baby they had a love heart on the date on the calendar FFS. At every point she chose not to go home to him on such a meaningful night. She then proceeded to have unprotected sex with the guy while ovulating!!! again while her husband was waiting excited about the possibilty of them starting a family. That level of behaviourl is not some typical human mistake that is outright cruelty and adisgusting betrayal of a person who loves and trusts you. This is an "extreme" act not a rash mistake. There is no "grey" here its just completely and utterly wrong . As I have said in many comments I dont expect her to be perfect, fully morally upright or any of that. I just don't want her to be a complete dirtbag. If you can't see that point it is you thats thinking in black and white. As in anything she did can just be explained away to "humans are complex" if thats the case you might as well apply that logic to the bloody rapists.

LMAO so when stealing the phone from the crime scene to hide her cheating was she separating her personal life from her professional life. LOL this sentence just proves you only see what you want to see. Your inability to see the blatant inaccuracy of that sentence is "perplexing at best" Typical defensive word salad because you cant bear to accept that her actions were completely and utterly unforgivable unneccessary and just makes her irredeemable no matter what she does. To me to choose this gratuitous story arc serves no purpose other than to undermine the women in the drama. Its not complex shes just a horrible person. Very unsatisfying. The point seems to be that people can do anything because well they are people. The complexity of the characters who traffic these poor women the complexity of the rapist scum do you understand that too.
Regardless of the "main plot" its completely soured and will continue to be by portraying her actions as anyway sympathetic understandable or forgivable. Unless she gets fired and dumped and shunned by her husband's family and friends unless the other characters clearly spell out how utterly selfish cruel and pathetic what she did was its completely morally bankrupt and unsatisfying.
Again she didnt have to be perfect but if we are to believe she has the sense of justice to bring down a group of heinouscriminals she should at least not be a complete amoral unprofessional cheat and liar from the get go. What she did was a very clear choice to do a horrible cruel thing END OF. So the question remains why portray her this way? To prove shes flawed?? No that doesnt prove being flawed that's beyond flawed that is horrendous.

Exactly the reason people are so triggered by your comments is because everything you say is 100 spot on and people dont like having their bubble burst. Everything about that story arc is pathetic and completely undermines the premise and the protagonists. People saying its just a side plot ignore it frankly haven't a clue. Its not just about being triggered by the utterly repulsive behaviour of one if the so called protagonists it also the completely undermines the premise.

rarely seen a protagonist do something so shitty in a drama 🙄 usually stuff reserved for villians. Its objectionable on every level.
would you say your maybe half as triggered by my comments as I am by the drama.

As I said in another point sure make them imperfect byt why go so far as to make one of them utterly detectable. Wouldn't a messy personal life be like meeting the reporter grieving for him so much you realise and your husband realises oh whats going on here and then shes like oh I dont know about having a baby etc then they fight sge decides to leave thats messy and normal.but they made ger an utter scumbag why?? Its called gratituous nonsense it detracts from the story not adds to it. It triggers people into not wanting to watch it but worse and I predict this confidently it will rationalise minimise and justify this characters horrible act. Thats an unneccessaey and huge turnoff. So yeah I wasn't bent on seeing unrealistic paragon of virtues just not total utter scumbags

thats the point though the whole plot is supposed to be about admiring these women but then they make one of them an annoying nepotism baby amd one of them a complete scumbag (like cheating is bad but having unprotected sex with another man on the day your are ovulating when you have it marked in the calendar and your husband is at home is just scumbag stuff.

of course the case is disgusting it would have been great to watch ordinary/extraordinary women do something anazing but no we have to make them caricatures or scum why i wonder ??
