I agree with your first paragraph very much and I think he can change all of that and I would hope in this scenario a guy like him would learn a lot but to me now there is no way of redeeming him for the FL. It would be too much. She's already been a doormat for 2ML and let him off too lightly at the funeral. no that's just funny but missing the point. She has to give up.on him now cause now he's not the one she will regret not holding on to. He is now completely not who she thought he was, she knew he was odd and straight laced cause he was still going to fire her, I didn't like that but followed it as I felt he would soften and realise his approach was not the best as he would learn that his approach loses talented people and happy ending. But now it's like his approach isn't just rational and utilitarian it's violent and cruel. So no I don't think she would regret it because a person like her wouldn't want to go near a person like him. Its just a bad story that's all Kdrama writers be weird Luke that sometimes.

LOL That's a dangerous logic. He didn't just ruin her career he destroyed her life he abused and gaslit her he led a smear campaign againt her. He assaulted her mental health. what he did was cruel and unforgivable. Like you can't just write off trauma like that especially considering the guy has self confessed not changed. I just think the writer has made a mistake incorporating this kind of dilemma into a rom com. Like I want a happy ending but it's not possible now for me to enjoy any endgame in which they are a couple.

Sure she should not hate him if he truly sees his behaviour was wrong as opposed to it caused her to break up with him. She should at best accept his apology and move on but it's too much to give of herself to take him back. TBH his career always bugged me. The FL has been with this kind of cold calculated person already the 2ML. The 2ML is still unbelievably selfish but even he won't ask her to take him back. I really think he needs to take this life lesson and the FL needs to find someone who unequivocally puts her first. By putting forward her resignation after realising his feelings were distracting him he reminded us her and himself who he really is.
