I am not a music connoisseur by any stretch of imagination, but I think we shall also appreciate the bgm and the soundscapes in Triage. The opening musical piece at the beginning of ep. 10 was so beautiful. And don’t get me started on the first few notes in the opening credits!
Je suis persuadé qu'on doit bien apprécier la trame sonore de cette série aussi.
I think the key element to Tol's success in the final loop may be him reading Tin's strategy notes from the diary at the beginning of the tenth episode. I guess Tin never had a chance to explain him all the details. Tol must have gotten a better idea from the notes about the pieces of the puzzle he wasn't aware of yet and that he needs Jinta's help somehow
It may be an unpopular opinion nowadays, but I still insist PatPran run rings around KP chemistry-wise. They may have real explosions on that side of BKK, but the real fireworks are still at the uni, at the dorm,... and on the rooftop...
Triage has the same prod group and author of the successful Manner of Death series (MaxTul). Original idea of…
It's also very commendable the attention to medical detail seems to be extremely accurate. Lesser producers may have skimped on the whole ER environment, but Triage is an example to follow!
Brilliant again! After last week's great ep. 9 we have the tenth installment that took us in an unexpected direction once again. I suspected correctly we were witnessing the penultimate loop. I think we'll progress to the final one in the middle of ep. 11, methinks... That was definitely Tol's (Tee's) time to shine in more than one way. I think the cinematographer framed him so handsomely so many times in this episode. Also, it seems, unbeknown to Tol, fate of all around him, not just Tin's, may be in his very hands.
This is what you call intelligent writing, directing, and acting. It is not just another BL story, but an immensely gripping drama. I think another directors and producers shall take note of it. There are no more excuses to come with boring, predictable BL tropes with mediocre acting, which were excusable five years ago, but not in 2022 anymore.
Ep 10 was so sad and I have so many questions after this episode. Why was there a random guy with a gun at the…
I concur about the confusion with the shooter's real target. It looked to me that Rit was supposed to be the one shot. I don't think Dr. Sak had any major suspicion on Tin, whereas Rit was the one with the stolen kidney. Then Tol and Tin got in the way.
It is not clear if Jinta was visible to Tol during the hospital visit. When Tin mentions Tol has met Jinta already, there is no discernible reaction from Tol. Maybe that's left ambiguous for a purpose
I do not watch Thai TV series beyond those BL-related, so I don’t know if this is a trend elsewhere too, but it is interesting to see plenty of the most recent Thai BL productions being open and strong critics of current Thai politics, gay discrimination, and other societal ills, without touching on king’s position obviously. Manner of Death: local corruption in the politics and law enforcement Not Me: lack of societal progress for LGBT rights, workforce exploitation, corruption in the politics and law enforcement Triage: exploitation of poor and/or vulnerable population and organ trafficking Ep. 6 of 7 Project: favouritisms for rich and powerful Cutie Pie: lack of marriage equality laws, even if it was a ham-fisted attempt. It is highly commendable that those series are not just pure entertainment, but also try to instill societal changes, or at least be vocal critics
The last sentence from the above synopsis is quite worrisome, TBH /.../ Daonuea knows he wants to go back to Nine, but is rather reluctant as Nine has an on-and-off girlfriend./..../ ไม่ไม่ ไม่... no...no...no...
Thinking of it, love is a powerful healer. Tin's profound stab wound seems to bother him not much more than a paper cut, whereas Tol's weak heart can withstand a wave of excitement with just an increased beat. I have the impression we are witnessing the penultimate loop now, whereas the final one will bring closure to every loose thread. BTW, what I find odd, some scenes from previews don't feature in the following full episode...
Not very lively today. Since we are 10 episodes in drop me your favorite KP episode so far and why?
Episode 6 by the sheer fact they have carried the whole storyline on their shoulders and succeeded admirably, helped for sure by good writing, camera work, and directing. We see Kinn's vulnerability for the first time. It's also the first opportunity for both of them to get a better grasp of their relationship.
I like how civilized was conversation between Mai and Tol during a breakup scene. Tols behaviour has mellowed definitely after several loops. If it were Tol at the beginning, fur would fly between them. I guess Tin's insistence Tol changes his behaviour has paid off. What can I say about the final scene... It is one of the most clever and well written indirect love confessions I have ever came across in the series. I was perhaps less than convinced when Tol allowed Tin to sleep over a few episodes back. He was showing him outright hostility at the family dinner. However, as the recurring dreams, maybe Tol has conserved residual feelings of growing curiosity and attraction from previous loops. Hence the passionate kiss at the end of this episode. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Love, lust, betrayal, family feud/s... It's Shakespeare-on-Chao-Praya...
I know it serves the plot, but Big's sacrifice came out of nowhere. Unless his loyalty to the main family is boundless...
I am sorta feeling sad for Tawan. He really wanted to be loved, but he finished being used by those around him...
What is going on with Tankhun? I wanna see more of him! He's (good-looking) man of mystery... Talking about Shakespeare. Khun is like Titus Andronicus, faking madness for his purposes, like the original Shakespeare character (so he says, but he at least has a serious case of PTSD), but talking sense, when needed.
Slow burner or a train wreck? It is too early to call...
I checked Boat's bio and he doesn't have much on it. However, he is the only winner in this endeavour so far. I like his body language, facial expressions and comedic timing.
