Whoever came with the idea of that KinnPorschePete slapstic scene in the room with Pete mumbling in Korean, should have been given a pure comedy gold sticker! Well thought and acted for laughs.
I am curious whether relative lack of passionate KinnPorsche kisses is deliberate in the story development up to this point. They are having a go at various sex acts, but it looks to me as they are still consumed by primary urges mostly, so to speak. Kissing a lover passionately shows much deeper relationship and emotional bond. I don't think they are at this stage yet. Heck, Porsche has even trouble to articulate was love means for him, and how does he recognize it. He had plenty of quickies before, but nothing else beyond those to compare to. Btw, Vegas delivering that ending "Resta in pace" quip with a smirk a few episodes ago was so on point, and well pronounced in Italian
https://youtu.be/lBAi8fU0C_w A BK talk with Pop & Mitch. I don't know if it is a pure coincidence, but Mitch, who has completed two HS years in Alabama, appears very bubbly, whereas Pop, who has studied in the UK for a couple of years, appears more reserved.
This series is totally gripping and unpredictable! There are so many new details that we are fed in every and each episode, but at least for me, I am none the wiser! It almost feels like being a character in the one of the loops themselves! Where are we heading with all that?
Some very random thoughts... 1. I was persuaded Tin lost his parents. I was quite surprised when he mentioned them towards the end of the last week's episode.
2. Other characters are having thoughts confused by the loops already. That's why Gap and Sing don't strike me as a "secret" couple. Singh was quite cold and scolding after the ER argument. I believe Gap is "remembering" some events from the "future", like Tin asking for a shift switch with Singh the first time, but Gap's remark was "again?", to Sing's bewilderment. The same about the coffee drink. Gap must have "remembered" it from a future loop. We are farther in the past we have ever been. They will have chances to become way more chummy. Weren't they going for a meal in a future loop from a past episode? I know, it's confusing...🤣
3. Tol's look when seeing the girl in the ending shot was that of being struck by a pretty girl's sudden appearance, rather than of a jealousy. My thought was that this girl would make Tin's task of seducing Tol even harder.
4. Heart's advice was SO spot on. I know, ahem, something about a very similar situation... but not of any use to Tin...
5. You can feel Tol's arrogance! Tee presses the right buttons. He's so different here from the sweet overall boy in The Miracle...
5. At some point, Tin should make an effort to approach Mai just before the party, and drive her to the hospital under some excuse. It should be timed before her mum is getting the fatal injection. That would stop Tol from ever attempting to drive and getting into the accident and/or having heart attack.
By men's standards, the underwear doesn't look good?
It's a little like a running joke...Young men are usually ridiculed for wearing tighty whities because of the simple fact that younger boys wear them in childhood. Or this is what dads would wear 🤣 They are considered comfy, but the opposite of fashionable!
I would expect Porsche's current salary to be better than it seems to be. I was laughing when he jumped from under the sheets at breakfast call in tighty whities that looked straight from Walmart. He should be able to afford much nicer ones, unless he doesn't care about fancy underwear much...🤣 I like the producers have extra fun here and there. The bgm when Porsche was scrolling Kinn's "secret" phone frantically, sounded positively James-Bond-soundtrack like
AIS, wake up! Several glowing YT comments under ep. 6 are in Spanish and Portuguese too! It means the international audiences got wiff of the series and are enjoying The Triage very much!
NamNing is a real piece of narcissist who loves to play the victim from time to time. That fake "sorry" scene from last week was very well portrayed. Since LukChup's friends are real smart and know the culprit well, nobody bought her tears. On the other hand, some more gullible peeps would perhaps even feel sorry for her... After the most recent episode, she sould be definitely heading to a psych ward in a high-security prison, whereas her minions should be put behind standard bars.
Continuous hats off to Mick for making LukChup supremely adorable without a hint of cringe, especially when, looking at his Insta, he appears to have a totally different look and character irl. You couldn't feel but extremely sorry witnessing LukChup's switch from cuteness and shyness to a total state of distress. Btw, Ram is a goal! It was comforting to see friends and both families coming with unravelling support from all sides. Pay attention to many compliments about LukChup's cuteness he was getting from all the quarters. Btw, I am curious whether Mick was cracking in the pinch-the-cheeks scene. He looked like ready to burst laughing, looking from the profile.
I wonder how they feel about taged all the time as a couple and not individual actors,
My understanding is MaxTul are very chill about this. To the contrary, they seem to cherish genuinely how fans see them. Besides, other than oozing chemistry on the screen, they look like extremely good friends IRL very much so too. Anyway, acting for Tul is more like a hobby, but a more serious stuff for Max. I think something is in store for them to act as a couple on the screen again, but current projects are separate ones.
A side observation: why the channel doesn't care to promote it to the international fans? Acting is on point, no cringe factor, even in the presence of uni students, they talk and walk at normal speeds, the medical component seems to be very legit, all tech aspects appear to be super pro so far! What are they waiting for? It looks like a sure-fire hit!
I am more and more spellbound. Ep. 5 took me in the direction I didn't expect it, and I love it. It's like peeling off a layer, then you find another one, and more... Then story or character circles become larger and larger, then they overlap unexpectedly. Dr. Tin's barely concealed mix of excitement and self-consciousness when shopping with Tol was so well portrayed. The epi. ending, though... I don't know where are we supposed to be heading with it, but take me there in a week!
Having experienced the same rating undoings with BBS, those numbers can be trusted as much as the singing contest result than Kinn won after his dad's bribe to the organizers, but in reverse 😒 It almost looks deliberate on MDL, at least where BL or LGBT-themed shows are concerned. Nobel prize should go to the person who would crack the reasoning behind the score-calculating algorithm here...
That's what you call a riveting episode! I like the direction the story is heading to. A much darker territory awaits. The visuals were on point. Does anybody have a vague idea about the location? It's clever to use a remote stretch of wilderness as a backdrop for the most intimate and emotional scenes so far. So, Kinn is not the person that he projects to others usually, and he appears to be pretty unhappy, if not even vulnerable and lonely. Btw, the ravine scene gave me 123 Hours with James Franco vibes, but the hand wasn't chopped off this time, luckily. Also, it is not easy to craft an episode that both leads can carry on their shoulders, just by themselves, so effortlessly
Tae's alleged height is 185cm/6'1" against Tul's 183cm/6', but in the scene together Tae looks much taller than just two cms apart, unless it was the camera work that has tricked me... Tee is portraying a college/uni student in this and also in The Miracle..., but the vibes are mercifully different
