When we were teens, all the minor or major setbacks we may have experienced made as feel as the end of the world was near. Only when we get older, we are able to assess our life experiences better. That feeling of utter disappointment, and even anger, at the Hot Wave loss was so well portrayed!
Mesmerizing, and then some (so far)! Every major and minor character is portrayed so on point. Was there a bet going around GMMTV actors who is going to outshine whom?! Btw, it is not easy to portray unpleasant roles. First does it as Alan so well. He didn’t have much screen time yet, but we able to grasp his persona pretty much already, even if the reason for his breakup with Wen (or, rather, other way around) is still a mystery. Btw # 2: p'Aof is way beyond and above BL series. He's crafting proper slice-of-life gay stories with embedded important societal messages, be it about environment in Bad Buddy, or various inequalities, as in MC
One of the competing bands came from Niyomsil School, as in the director's last name. There was an audience member holding an LED sign. I suspect it's one of the Easter eggs in MSP. Btw, when Fourth delivers soft-spoken lines, he has one of the most beautiful-sounding Thai voices I've ever heard
When Tin and Gun have their phone conversation, it looks like their t-shirts talk to each other too, with Tinn’s “One day I’ll make it all up to you” to Gun’s “Everything will be fine.”
The lesson we can all remember from CP2 is never to plan for a totally outdoor wedding ceremony and dinner, even if it were to be held in Thailand. Also, when Jay opened that ring box, my lips mumbled "Yes, of course, I'll marry you!"
Thai sugar industry is in disarray as all its most recent output has been absorbed by My School President. On a scale 1-10 the sweetness code is borderline infinite
At ep. 8 1/4 7:38 timestamp, where Gun is blowing air to Tinn's ear, appearing and disappearing from his imagination, some eagle eye spotted Fourth's hair sticking out from under the table when he's hiding from the camera shot 🤣
When the GMMTV head honchos saw the MSP screenplay on paper, I bet they exclaimed "Meh, another HS BL... it should not work, but let's greenlight it anyway" without really envisaging the hit it would become. You cannot think of a simplest story to tell (honestly, how many school music clubs have we seen before...), but the overall execution is utmost charming and adorable, so far! Also, zero BL cringe until now?! That's another accomplishment!
As sweet as their talk was, Nueng sounds like having Palm as a bf is some sort of a novelty that he fancies to try while away from school, home, and else... Let's hope this journey is going to be shown as an opportunity for Nueng to discover his more human side and his true self. Also, Palm's mum was on something deeper when mentioning their class differences. Palm behaves pretty deferential and even stars-truck around Nueng to some extent
Gemini & Fourth talking in English for 36 minutes straight (no pun intended), from Let's Talk BL channel: https://youtu.be/CofQO7KpROc. Totally adorable!
Why Nueng would mention to Palm his mum is in a coma, if, supposedly, he is not with touch with anyone back home...? Anyway, the bed talk felt to me like the most natural interaction so far, as two guys with feelings for each other would talk irl... Now, I was trying to figure out the actual island location. During the bike fixing scene, they stand by a boardmap that shows the island in a shape of Koh Samui (https://images.app.goo.gl/jHFZfjYx8JBcg8Gg9). However, I could not find the attractions that are on the info board by the side. There is no temple of that name on Koh Samui (if I read it correctly). Also, they mention a bar in the episode credits that's on the beach 30km down from Pattaya...
