This is my 4th drama with Park Shin Hye and it was definitely her best role from what I've watched, it was something very different and she gave it her all. I recently watched a similar drama, which was very hyped, but I was left disappointed, so I decided to walk into this with no expectations and I was very pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed the drama! The cases, the punishments, the developement of the story overall, 12 eps were enough, but the second half of the last episode was a bit rushed. I liked the mains and the supporting characters, the OST, the budget on this was surely high. I wish there was more about the real Kang Bitna, both about her life as a human and in the afterlife. One of the top 2025 dramas. 8,5/10 from me ~
Wow... I saw an article about her death and I thought it was a joke... Another soul gone just like that. Korea will never learn its lesson and will always mourn and feel sorry for someone when it's too late. She was young and still had lots of time ahead to make up for her mistakes. I will always remember her as a wonderful and expressive child actress, because all I've seen from her are her earlier works from 2010 to 2014 ~ May she rest in peace.
Once again, a JP drama which knows how to play with the emotions of the audience. The mains were wonderful, they both portrayed their characters and their emotions very well! Japanese dramas can often be found boring by people who are not used to watching them, they are usually slow-paced, personally I enjoyed this one a lot. The ending and the last episode were a bit rushed for me, but let's say the special episode makes up for that a bit. The story isn't something that we haven't seen tons of times already, but this was very well-made. If you're looking for a BL with a similar vibe, I recommend "Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo", it's a Korean BL which came out 3 months ago and also deals with high-school love and abusive father. As for "Our Youth", there were some things that could've been better, but overall it deserves at least a steady 8/10 ~
Nice, little special, it made the main story more complete with it. It was a nice touch that they were calling each other by their first names here ^^ Both actors have shared a photoshoot on their Instagrams where they are wearing white suits, so I guess that's the closest we'll get to seeing their wedding :D
I finally watched this and sadly... I think I expected more. Great cast and acting, but the storyline was a bit…
They went back to the past and saved the father of Joon Woong's friend. His life was like that, because of his many failures, but also because he had lost his father. When they went back to the present day, wasn't there supposed to be a change in his life? Or they didn't save his father and just postponed his death somehow? Because he did get back to the hospital and spent time with his family. That'wasn't explained properly and there were some other minor plot holes.
I finally watched this and sadly... I think I expected more. Great cast and acting, but the storyline was a bit weak at times for me, some cases were not strongly emotional and didn't have much impact like in other dramas centered around death. The drama had a pretty good start, but because of some cases, it just lost me a little, some stories were repetitive, but I like how they tried to connect them in some way tot he main characters. Episode 6 will stay my favourite. The idea of the drama is still very good and it truly shows that some lives can be saved with so little, only if someone paid attention, sadly we know how it goes in real life. Koreans will never learn, they have showed in on many occasions with their bullying both in real life and on social media. Lee Soo Hyuk stole the show for me, I don't know if his role can be considered main, but he was amazing. His chemistry with Kim Hee Sun was wonderful! I'll give this 7,5/10, because it wasn't a bad drama, but I feel like it could've been better. Some things needed more explanation, like...
I'm a bit confused because Ryung Goo's mother killed herself, yet she was reincarnated. I'm pretty sure I missed…
She paid for her crime in hell and got to be reborn many years later, that's why Ryung Goo had been looking and waiting for her for over 300 years. Her forever punishment is that she cut all ties with everyone in her past life, so she will never meet them again.
I walked into this drama with no expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. It didn't have a strong start for me, but it got better and better. It's similar to "Kiseki". Some dramatic things related to the cousin were unnecessary, when the main focus was on the leads and their hardships when it came to being together, it was much better. The second couple were a funny duo xD I really like the black cat x golden retriever combo and the main couple were exactly that, great chemistry (both on and off screen), loved Shao Peng's family and his character a lot. It could've been better in some aspects, but it was still a very enjoyable, heartwarming and memorable drama, a steady 7,5/10 from me ~
A bittersweet movie about the beauty of life. It was a bit slow at times, but life doesn't have to be dynamic all the time. It was a very nice touch how the movie started off with very bright and colourful scenes, then as times passed, it got darker and darker. Symbolism of flowers is also one of my favourite things. A beautiful, hopeless love story with lovely actors and impactful and emotional scenes. 8/10 from me ~
I really tried to like this, but... I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea. The start didn't really grab me, then the middle was okay, because I enjoyed the progress of the story, then the last few episodes lost me again, they were repetitive, it was "Save You-Save Me" situation all the time. The leads had a good chemistry, but I just wasn't that invested in their story, the second leads with their bubbly and soft personalities intrigued me more. I had high expectations, but they weren't met. The drama isn't bad, it's just... the story was all over the place, but it still had its good moments. Not everything has to be enjoyed by everyone, 6,5/10 from me ~
Wow, while it was airing the rating was 8.9 and now it suddenly dropped to 8.3 I watched the first 4 episodes last night and it was nothing special. I hope it will get better...
I read so many negative comments that I was scared to watch this, but this season was very good. Was it better…
Player #246 is definitely alive, they didn't show the exact moment when he was shot, so it was probably guard 011 who shot him in a non-vital place, so he won't die.
We already know the last 3 games, because of the poster and short clip at the end of episode 7 + the other 2 games are on the walls, where the players sleep, just like in S1, so all three sound exciting and dangerous.
Some of our favourite characters will difinitely die, but at least here, not only one player will be left at the end, that's for sure. I have a feeling that Gi Hoon might not make it out alive this time.
I read so many negative comments that I was scared to watch this, but this season was very good. Was it better than the first one? - No. And it doesn't have to be, nothing can beat the excitement we all felt while watching S1. This season also had pretty likeabale characters, it's both similar and very different from the first season, it also had some pretty nice plot twists, I'm sure they've got more in store and will be able to surprise us until the end. This season is not about the games, it's about ending them, that's the biggest difference and it was most evident it episode 7. Also, Gi Hoon is a totally different person, because of all events, he lost his smile and his cheerfulness, LJJ really is a great actor, he portrayed that very well. Most people were probably salty, because of the "ending", a title like "Season 3" is not appropriate, because it's simply Part Two of Season 2, just like in The Glory. That's how the indsutry works, Squid Game makes a huge profit, so they are trying to make use of that. If you enjoyed the first season, defintely watch this one as well or simply wait until June, so you can watch everything, don't be swayed too much because of the comments. Squid Game has always been and always will be, both hated and loved by the public, nobody's saying everybody should like it just because it's popular.
Aaah, this drama... it's started off well, then I began losing interest little by little. I still enjoyed it,…
First off, from the main characters I like No Sang Cheol the most, he was a consistent and great character. Jeong U... come on, so many people ruined his life and he was still trying to be kind to them, even the person who tried to kill his mother, he even took Geon O in, okay, yes, he was left with no family and he's ill, but he still knew everything that happened 10 years ago and kept quiet, even if his words couldn't be used in court, showing Da Eun's body would've been enough to prove Jeong U wasn't the killer and start up the investigation again. The fact that two girls were killed by different people, in the same place, 30 minutes apart, was just... If something is shared between more that two people, it's no longer a secret, someone, somewhere is meant to slip up and make a mistake, two witnesses who saw everything and so many people were involved in the murders and it was all kept hidden for over 10 years, it's just absurd. They focusued too much on Boyoung, that at times I even wondered if Daeun wasn't alive. The real killers didn't pay for their crimes, killing them off was a way too good ending for them, especially for Minsu's father who kept deceiving his family and so called close friend for years, after killing his daughter.
Aaah, this drama... it's started off well, then I began losing interest little by little. I still enjoyed it, the acting was great, everyone was suspicious all the time, you just come to hate everybody in the village, especially the elders. It was a good thriller and in the first half it was really hard to guess who the real killer is, then they kept adding more and more, they dragged out and the suspense slowly faded away. I'll still give this a 7,5/10, because it had its good moments, however it could've been much better. I saw some comments saying that 14 episodes were too much, maybe that's one of the reasons, personally I don't have a problem with the number of the episodes, but with some things that happened in the drama. I'll write more detailed thoughts, marked as a spoiler.
As a primary teacher myself, the movie was interesting to watch. Sadly, kids nowadays, even the youngest can be very cruel and kids are often mistreated and misunderstood by adults, including their parents. I like how they showed the movie from different perspectives, every coin has two sides, just like every story. The acting was good, the cinematography as well, I enjoyed the movie and its idea, fighting our demons is never easy, not even for little children who seem to have no problems, that's not the case most of the time. However, something was lacking for me, it's not the fact that the movie was slow at times, maybe it's because of some characters, with all the hype, maybe I expected a bit more, either way, it's a nice watch, it's just not for everybody. A 7/10 from me ~
I don't understand, why does na gyeom help them clean up the mess? she even helps the doctor, why?
It's because she's obsessed with Jeong U and she wants him to go to prison, so everybody can hate him, be distant from him, including his friends and family, she wants him all for himself. However, when she helped the others it wasn't stated that Jeong U would be framed as the murderer, so I don't know why or how she was hoping that would happen, but that's pretty much how the writer wanted to back up her reasoning for her actions.
