This drama truly is a gem! The actors did a splendid job! I haven't read the novel, but I saw many positive comments about how the characters were portrayed. I loved the longing, the bonding, the desperation, Wei Qian's confusion about his feelings. The build up was amazing and somehow... the last two episodes ruined everything for me. The getting together... I don't know, I somehow expected more. Many people were disappointed with the NC scene, but I think that's mainly because of the hype around it and the editing and loud music, which were just... out of place. The plot wasn't perfect and some things were predictable and overdramatic, but the excitement of all upcoming episodes and the progress in the relationship between the leads, were what hooked me in. Sadly, they tried to fit in too many things in the last episodes, while what I wanted the most was to see the two lovebirds being happy and in love more. I'll still give this 8/10, because of the emotions it gave me and the acting, really.
I think the high ratings deceived me and I expected this to be much better than it actually was. My biggest issue with the drama is that it felt rushed, everything happened too fast and they simply couldn't cover up everything only with those 6 episodes. In general, I liked the stroyline, the acting and the chemistry between the leads, but I just couldn't get into the drama, it didn't grab me. I still liked it though, it would've been better with more episodes. A hopeful 7/10 from me ~
This profile picture doesn't do him any justice, he looks so much better! I wish him success in acting, because he did a great job in "Koi wo Suru nara Nidome ga Joto" ~
This movie was magical! So moving and touching! It shows the beauty of life, Hirayama as a character will remain a beautiful mystery for me ~ I just wished they showed at least a bit of his previous life and why he made the choice to live like this now, but not knowing... somehow fits the concept of the movie even more - "Now is now." The OST was so fitting, amazing choice of songs! The last scene will forever remain in my mind, literally perfect acting from Yakusho Koji. Some might find the movie boring, but it was special and beautiful, I rarely rate anything so high, but I just have to give it a 9/10!
I read the webtoon years ago and I must say that the things they changed in the drama are actually for the better. This felt rushed, especially towards the end (mostly ep. 8), but they did what they could, considering the webtoon has 70+ chapters. Sadly, this started off well, then... things went a bit downhill. Both couples have their issues with toxic traits, but I'm sure the second couple stole everyone's hearts. Dooyoon is the real MVP, Song Hangyeom gets the credit for that. I enjoyed the acting, Hogeun was a bit stiff at times though. This was a good attempt and definitely not a bad adaptation of the webtoon, but there are far better K-BLs. I wouldn't say 'Jazz for Two' is a bad drama, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. A 7,5/10 from me ~
This was cute, but the start and the end were just too abrupt, the story in the middle was nice though with a good build-up. I love time travel, but I think I expected too much from this this short web drama.
This movie is not everyone's cup of tea. For me, they focused too much on the violent scenes, there could've been more character build and background, but in a way I get why they did that, after all... it's a revenge story. Jinyoung's acting was great, especially as the disabled twin, but the movie has some plot holes and things that were left unexplained. For example, why was Son Hwan at the detention center? What did he do to deserve to be there? It's a hard piece to watch, I just think it could've been better. But the message it conveys is rather important.
I don't know if I would've enjoyed this more, if I hadn't seen so many spoilers. I can't believe there were so many mean comments towards Na Inwoo, because "fans" of the drama thought he was super ugly, like seriously? Check your eyes, people, he's very good looking and he's a great actor (this is my 3rd drama with him, first time as a male lead). The scene stealers were Yang Joo Ran and Yoo Hee Yeon (such a cute, happy virus!), I've seen many dramas with PMY, she did a good job as always, but the vilians here stole the show, especially Song Ha Yoon, she portrayed her character so well, there's no way you can't hate or find Soomin annoying! The flow of the story was good, especially when it comes to the relationship between the leads, but the was there any need to add another vilian towards the end of the drama? Inwoo and Minyoung had a very nice chemistry and I simply like the idea of story - getting a second chance, it's difficult to do that in real life, but... not impossible. Kang Jiwon did her best and everybody got what they deserved in the end ~
did you skip past the first episode, his mother was abused and murdered infront of him at like 10 yrs old. he…
There's no need to be rude. Meaningless comment from a person who obviously can't read and doesn't know the difference between Cho Kang Ok and Kim Ji Yong.
wait a minute…he is getting hate for dating? from whom? his korean fans?
Yes, from both his fans and Karina's and just k-nets in general. Dating in Korea is a huuuuge scandal. Idols and actors are treated as if it is a crime to be in love... There were even protest trucks in front of Karina's company and all that...
Two broken people finding home and comfort in each other, that's the main point. The drama sticks to the manga very well. Maybe I was deceived by the ratings, but I expected more from this. It was a typical JP BL with slow pace, nice setting, but for the amount of episodes and their duration, I think the main focus was averted and it wasn't the romance between the two leads, but the problematic office environment in Japan. Props to the young actors as well, the resemblance with their older version was very good. All in all, the drama isn't bad, but it's not one of JP's best BLs for sure. 6,5/10 from me ~
This season was sooo much better! I have nothing against Boah, but I really love dramas set in the 20th century.…
There used to be a page about a S3, it's no longer on the site, but... I wonder if there's a next season, there will be something about the original mountain God, who was brought back to life, he was just shown in the last episode, watching from outside and... nothing.
This season was sooo much better! I have nothing against Boah, but I really love dramas set in the 20th century. There was something unique about this season, the driving force of it all was once again love, but in more ways than romantic - friendship, loyalness, brotherhood, people joined by one goal. The Lee brothers and their bond was great as always, the Korean mythology was even better outlined here and the historic aspect added up to the story as well. I'm so glad we could once again see so many people from the original cast and I must say that Kim So Yeon just stole the show! She was so, so beautiful and her acting was amazing!
The story was fast-paced, it wasn't boring, but there were some plot holes. The action scenes were done very nicely, I think Joohyuk has better roles than this one though, he's really good with comedy and melodrama, so action from him was a nice change. I haven't read the webtoon, but hopefully there's more about Cho Kang Ok's reasons for doing everything in there, because here... I loved his character, but he lacked a storyline to justify all of his actions. Choi Mi Ryeo and her craziness were simply... annoying. I don't know if that's only, because of the character or simply because of her and her acting. I liked the ending, but as a whole the drama isn't that special and it could've been better, the OST was great, 7,5/10 from me ~
Korea has done it again... he's getting tons of hate, because he's dating Karina! This is why idols/actors don't reveal if they are dating. I hope all this amount of negative comments from K-netizens won't affect his relationship.
The agony is finally over. This was a one man drama, but even Pavel couldn't save it.I avoid watching ongoing…
Not like I expected something grand to happen, but seriously... NO reaction at all from anyone when they saw Charlie in ep. 13??? He literally came back from the dead! & the situation was treated as if he had returned from a picnic or something...
I loved the longing, the bonding, the desperation, Wei Qian's confusion about his feelings.
The build up was amazing and somehow... the last two episodes ruined everything for me.
