He did a wonderful job in "Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo", in some scenes he really reminded me of Zee (Thai actor). I hope he gets more roles and recognition!
Aaah, sadly I expected more of this drama! T^T I watched the movie a few years ago and I loved the idea of it ~ Thankfully, here the story was explored better since it's a drama and not a movie. The actors did a wonderful job, Kouhei was portrayed very well - his sadness, longing, hopefulness for more, Taichi's bubbly personality and loud voice were totally his character. The story overall is good, the chasing and realizing of your dreams, the idea to fit in and that people with disabilities should be part of the community. However, this could've stayed simply as a bromance drama and not a BL, there was chemistry between the leads, but on a friendly level and nothing more, that's why the ending felt rushed and not natural, at least to me. There was no need for romance, because the supposed feelings between Taichi and Kouhei were not the main point of the drama. In most Japanese dramas, not only BLs, we get to see only the struggle of the mains to become a couple it happens and the drama ends, dating era is almost never shown. The first half was better, I still enjoyed watching this, but I just wished for more to happen in the relationship between Kouhei and Taichi. I recommend the drama "Silent", it's not a BL, but it's very similar, since one of the leads loses his hearing and the acting is amazing.
Aaah, I love these two so much!!! Their chemistry is unbelievable! This spin-off did justice to the emotions, all the feelings, the tension, the longing, the curiousity, the love, the anger, the sadness, simply everything! However, it didn't do justice to their story in general. I just need more and more. Basically, I need a prequel to the prequel and a sequel to the sequel. Their dynamic in ULS was a bit different, Donghee was more playful as a person, but I give it to age and growing up. All 4 actors from ULS went on a trip this summer and it was aired as a show, they are still actively promoting the series, so this really gives me hope that maybe we'll get to see Donghee and Hotae again and I truly hope that their story will be properly explored, the actors are giving their all. The movie was beautiful, I just needed a little bit more back story and I want to see the two sunshines in the future.
Kim Woo Bin's still got it! It's been a while since I last watched something with him, but what a great movie! This had potential to become a drama, I would love to see Jeong Do and Sun Min as a team again and again. I wish they (especially Jeong Do) relied more on the police though. I'm sure there are criminals who repent and regret their actions, but the majority... they are probabaly just like they were shown in the movie, no remorse and hunger for the thrill of crimes. A steady 8,5/10 from me ~
After episode 9... a question about the teachers...
I haven't read the novel, so I'm totally in the dark, but I thought that Zhao Xi and Benny were a couple. Since they appeared together, opened the shop and started working at the school, the glances, the muffins, the coffee, I thought those were some hints. But after episode 9, it looked like Zhao Xi stepped back, so Benny and Jenny could get together and he didn't want to get in the way. Am I reading all of this wrong or...?
This was cute, Takara was a very nice character, Taishin was a bit too innocent and slow at times for me, but he had his own charms. The first few episodes didn't really hook me, Taishin's reason for following Takara to another city and his university was kinda meh for me, honestly a little creepy as well, he didn't have any bad intentions, but still. There are 10 episodes, yet not much happened, but the interactions between the leads and the supporting cast were still wholesome, it's a good drama and the spin-off was a good final touch. I had higher hopes for the drama though, a shaky 7/10 from me ~
This had a rather weak start, but the second half was better. There was some communication, but not enough. The story itself wasn't very interesting or dynamic, the actors did an okay job, the chemistry between them... it was alright. Toma was nicely played as a character. Overall, a very shaky 6,5/10 from me ~
He was sentenced to one year in prison, wow... I hope he gets through this, I'm sure his mental state is just terrible at the moment and his father recently passed away...
Ju and Third were my favourite characters! Ju was always so cheerful and loveable & Third was a great 2nd male lead, not toxic at all and super understanding, he's the only one who had common sense in the last 2 episodes, what he said to San in eps 9 and 10 was the absolute truth! The drama as a whole was good, but I somehow expected something more. It had a nice start, the chemistry was great and all actors really did a wonderful job, but at times it was repetitive and stupid actions lead to stupid situations, which could've been avoided, but oh well, we need the drama, right? It had 'I feel you linger in the air' vibes, but here the budget was probably not that high, so some things could've looked and be done better. The drama teaches valuable lessons about life and it's definitely not a waste of time, but still, as I said, something was sadly lacking for me. A 7,5/10 from me ~ I would love to see Daou and Off together in something in the future.
Just a random question, but why is Thailand so obsessed with sniffing/breathing in "kisses"? They used to be a huge trend a while back, I hadn't seen them in a while, but we had them here again.
I expected a lot more, the cast is what makes this good. The fighting scenes were amazing, but there are plot…
It was obvious that Jin Man wasn't dead, as they never truly showed the actual scene in the bathroom, just the outcome. When Jinman was in the mountains with Jian and he faked being sick, he called Pasin and told him the meds did a great work, so since then I suspected that they had used something to make him look dead. Plus, he replayed the audio of Jian's voice on Jungmin's phone too many times, Jian herself said she had never uttered such words, it was just not her style, so Jin Man obviously knew she wasn't caught, he's not stupid and easy to trick. All of this was his attempt to lure out Bale and everyone else who wanted to kill him, but how could he be so sure that Jian would surive all of this? And he turned her into a murderer with his actions, he didn't seem that heartless when it comes to her well-being, even though he trained her for years in order to survive on her own. They mentioned how she was attacked once and the store manager who conned her, I thought they were going to show flashbacks of that. Also, how Jinman managed to stay hidden for over 10 years even though he was still in the "industry" is a mystery for me. With the title of the drama, there shoud've been more about the shop, how it actually started functioning, how it got customers and other details. He looked like he had been fighting at the end, so maybe he went against Babylon and Bale, but really... with no 2nd season, there's no point to all of this.
I expected a lot more, the cast is what makes this good. The fighting scenes were amazing, but there are plot holes and things that were not explained well or at all, which bothers me. The ending... it was an obvious one, but if they don't make a second season, all of this will be in vain, because the story ended in the middle of nowhere and they could've added at least 2 more episodes. Sadly, with the way things are now, I can't give this more than 6,5/10, I hate unfinished dramas, which leave too many hanging questions in the air.
She's amazing in Century of Love! Such a cheerful girl, I smile whenever she appears on the screen! I hope she gets more and more roles in the future! ^^
One of my most favourite dramas of all time! There have been so many speculations about a second season over the years and I'm sooo happy this is finally happening! I hope we'll be able to see the 2nd season in 2025! <3
I hope he gets more roles and recognition!

They are not good actors by any means, there's lots of room for improvement.
