On The Ship of Theseus Jan 28, 2020
I was not sure about this drama after watching episode 1 but episode 2 was good. In episode 1, I think the story went really fast and I didn't like the makeup they used to make the actors look older. But episode 2 was slower, we got to know Shin's family and the people from the village more. Now, I really wonder who is the culprit!

The first episode was not what we could call something "original" but it is good enough to keep people interested I guess. Let's see what episode 2 will be like.

This is the kind of subject that I like but this was so boring. Too much pathos that brings nothing to the story.

I usually love night dramas as they're short and usually depicts well some parts of the Japanese life. And the first episode of Kotaki brothers didn't disappoint me: funny, weird but at the same time close to everyday life. I really liked it!

If you are new to this series, I think you should watch season 3 first, you can understand more about main characters…
Thanks a lot for the recommendation, that's very nice of you! I will try season 3 if I can find it.

I'm new to this series and as I don't know the characters personal backgrounds the first episode was a little confusing to me. But once I got used to them, after maybe 20 minutes or something, I got hooked and really enjoyed it.

Episode 3 was delayed this week (I believe) due to an earthquake/other external circumstances. Currently watching…
I heard it was delayed because it deals with a death due to fire. It was originally scheduled right after what happened in Kyoto, where many people died due to a criminal fire, so this is plausible I guess.

While watching the first episode, I though that's exactly what I was looking for! Kuroki Haru is wonderful. I hope it continues like this!

I'm dropping for now after watching ep1. To me Strawberry Night is about the female lead's strength, wit, struggles…
I was looking forward to this drama because I love the saga but as you said, Nikaido Fumi is not doing a good job. Or maybe it's the character of Himekawa who is not well written, I don't know.

Title Mr. Hiiragi's Homeroom Spoiler
Watched episode 6 raw (my understanding to Japanese is bad so correct me if I'm wrong). The swimmer girl was bullied…
Hello! You got it quite right! Actually, this student is really sick and if she had continued sports she could have died. Nobody wanted to tell her that, so to protect her, the PE teacher came up with a false pretext (she dating a guy) to kick her out the swimming club. He did that to protect her.

It's nice to have a drama set in Kyoto! The cases are interesting and I also like the characters.

No, he says that for a long time he thought "Kuala Lumpur" was in fact "Kulala Lampur".
It's clearly not what he says, and believe me, I have 15 years of Japanese practice behind me.
