I was and I am still expecting a lot from this drama, but to be honest I was bored by the first episode. Too many characters, many of them despicable, and a complicated and very unlikely story.
The story was original and interesting but unfortunately after a few episodes it seems to go in lots of different directions and nothing seems to make sense. I was hoping to see how all the events are connected but the last episode left a lot of questions unanswered. As for the acting, we have on one side two great actors, Saito Takumi and Lily Franky (this guy is a genius!) and on the other side a bland character played by a person who is just a cute face with no talent: Shiraishi Mai. I'm really fed up with those so-called actresses in Japan. To conclude, I would say that even if my comment seems to tell this drama is bad, it's not the case. I kind of enjoyed it for its originality and I think it's worth watching it.
- Avalanche: I'm intrigued by the story and I like Ayano Go - Boku no nee-chan: whatever the story, I always watch Kuroki Haru's dramas - Kotodamasou: I'm not sure about this one, but the story sounds original - Nihon chinbotsu: a classic! And what a cast! - Super Rich: because I love Eguchi Noriko!
And maybe also Saiai and Shinhannin Flag.
As for the winter season, I'm really looking forward to the new taiga, because of the period, because of the screenwriter (who worked on Sanadamaru and Shinsengumi) and also because of the cast!
I think it has something to do with something that happened to a young policewoman. In episode 2, Muro Tsuyoshi's character said something about that, very briefly.
It was interesting and the acting was great, way better than what I remember from the drama. I'm now thinking about going to the movies tomorrow to watch the movie.
*About subtitles in French* Pour ceux qui s'intéressent aux sous-titres en français, j'ai commencé la traduction de la saison 2 (l'adresse du blog est sur mon profil).

It seems I’m gonna dislike Kurumi more in s2. I know it’s not her fault for losing her memory, but with this…
She lost her memory completely, she doesn't even remember her name. Boring... There are so many other possible intrigues with the new characters and even the S1 characters, like Todoroki, Kanae, Kuwata, Jian... But no, they decided again to focus on poor thing Kurumi.
