I wasn't interested by the plot at the beginning, I just gave it a try for Takahata Mitsuki because I like her... and I enjoyed the drama! The family relations are really well written, that's the best part for me.

I guess I'm the only one who didn't like this drama. I found the two main characters boring and I couldn't feel any empathy for them. Sawa was sometimes ridiculous. Frightening things occur around her but all she thinks about is her wedding? Furthermore, the acting was not that good.

Loved episode 6, but the ending felt a bit rushed/weird. Maybe they just showed small parts of the next episode?…
Yeah, me too! I thought it was so well done!

I loved episode 6 too! The two different points of view on the same relationship were very interesting. As for what you mentioned, I think that's the preview for the next episodes.

Oh my gosh this is ridiculous! Even laugh-out-loud-unintentionally-funny at times. Almost everyone is crazy, and…
I dropped for the same reason, this is too much for me. Ridiculous is the best word to describe the story.

The ending song really got me addicted.
It's a really good song, I love it too! And I love the atmosphere of this ending theme song, with their costumes, hairstyles... it looks like some kind of musical.

I felt really uncomfortable during episode 3, because of his revenge's target. Furthermore, the story contains a lot of improbabilities. Despite what happened to the main character, I don't have any more empathy for him. I hope it gets better soon.

The first episode was really good! The story is interesting. We have a family, not well-educated, but happy. But this family lives in a society where diplomas are highly valued, so the father worries for his elementary school daughter, whose results are bad. I think the first episode gave a good view of what the situation is in Japan regarding education. Also, the first episode was often funny without being stupid. And the little girl playing Kaori, the daughter, is incredibly cute!

There are better ones like DA-ICE, X4 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcrEbKgaX4A) and Namie Amuro (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9-cLupZSqQ…
First, I don't think they're better. It's a question a taste, everyone is different. Second, are those dramas OST? Which dramas, do you know? And thanks for mentioning X4, I didn't know them, they're pretty cool.

Thanks for this article and nice choices!
I personnally like Hoshino Gen's "Koi" the best, even if I didn't watch the drama. I think Chay's "12 gatsu no ame" was original, I like it a lot. And of course, Fujiwara Sakura's "Soup" was great. I also enjoyed Ikimonogakari's "Sweet Sweet Music". 2016 was a great year for OST!

It was a wonderful drama! Very informative, but never boring. As a fan of literature, it was great to know more…
In Japanese with subtitles, on TV. Do you know if there are any English subs available?

I didn't watch "Suki na hito ga iru koto", so I can't judge its quality. I just know this isn't the kind of dramas I'm interested in, but if people liked it, fine. However, I'm a little bit sad when I see that Kiritani Mirei is chosen as the best actress... there were so many great actresses to watch this year and she's gonna win? That's pretty disappointing.
My only hope now is that the people who enjoyed "Suki na hito ga iru koto" will get interested in other jdramas and discover what they have to offer.

Episodes 7 and 8 are extremely sad... Don't watch them when you're in a bad mood, otherwise it will…
It's full of hope, I would say. However, there is a twist at the end and I have no clue how the drama will end. I'm really looking forward to the last episode!

I don't know why this drama is not popular, but it's really interesting one with really good stories…
I agree! Good stories, good plot and I would add good acting. This is a drama which, in my opinion, could have a 2nd season. There are interesting characters that could be developed in a 2nd season. :)

I don't want to spoil anybody :) It's just that Aki has a really hard time with her family, and as she's a mother who tries her best, I felt really sad for her. Even if you're doing your best, life is sometimes unfair.
